Microsoft was definitely on a roll the week before E3, coming out with their own "leaks" and surprises. A new Zune is on the way, as well as a new TV/video service for Xbox Live. Games galore and teasers more, and frankly, I think we just broke the week-before-drought-curse for E3 this year. Don't take my word for it. Peruse below and see what you missed last week. Gaming:

» Why did people doubt them
Just a little bit ago everyone was saying "MS has no games for the rest of the year", and "MS will have nothing to show at E3". According to reports now and very credible rumors, they'll be showing a new as yet unannounced Halo title, Halo: ODST, a new Lionhead game, Rare will probably show their new game (seems like Perfect Dark 2), new Splinter Cell, probably show Gears 3, deff see Alan Wake, Forza 3, Crackdown 2, and a few others I can't think of.
Not that I really care since I own both real consoles, but people were doubting them for no real reason. Combine this with all the stuff Sony has and all the amazing multiplatform games and 09 will be better than 08 for gaming. And 08 was the best year in gaming history by far
