You can run, but you can't hide. If you managed to escape updating to the New Xbox Experience until now (for reasons I can't fathom), don't expect to be able to for long. The NXE update is now apparently a mandatory update in new games. The first games to have this mandatory update on-disc are Tom Clancy: H.A.W.X., and MLB:2K9. Unless you update to NXE, you won't be able to play these games. Time to figure out what your avatar will look like. Don't worry, you can leave out the gross pimple. Related Articles:

i must admit the new interfeace was hard to get used to... and it still seems a bit odd.... but after some time, i like it alot more than the old one... everytime i start my xbox, it feels like a new console.. whereas the old one just made it look boring :P
but why wouldn't you update??
might be becasue you don't have access to the internet, but why would you NOT update (even if you had the chance)??

i prefer the old dash...
beyond that, only very old dash versions are exploitable.
anyone who really cares enough already has a way to run more than one dash/kernel.

Actually, I'm indifferent to the new dashboard.. I personally like the PS3 layout better, but it's pretty cool about the features they added in when the jumped from the old into the new (that being the 360)
