Microsoft Korea will hold a showcase event of Xbox 360 on Monday when it will announce the release date in South Korea.
The company said that it will demonstrate several titles including Kameo, Project Gotham Racing 3 and Perfect Dark Zero.
The new Xbox has been a hot-selling item in the United States since its launch last week.
The San Jose Mercury News reported that the parts and assemblies of Xbox 360 console may cost $553 for Microsoft, meaning that the company is losing $153 on each console.
Real Money Allowed in ‘Rohan’ Item Trade
Itembay, the nation’s largest online game item trading company, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Geomind, publisher of online game ``Rohan.’’
The partnership agreement was the first case for a game company to officially allow users to trade items with real money.
For years, items of multiplayer role-playing games such as ``Lineage’’ and ``Rohan’’ have been traded for up to dozens of million won via trading Web sites, but game developers and publishers have opposed such businesses in public.
The two companies said that they will work together to provide safe transactions between the users, and will raise the level of collaboration in the future.
