World in Conflict - Image 1It looks like Xbox 360 owners will be getting another new RTS to play with. According to Xbox 360 news site Xbox 360 Wire, Vivendi SA is a video game developer; formerly known as Vivendi Universal">Vivendi has confirmed that the PC title World in Conflict will be coming to Microsoft's next gen console.

World in Conflict is a real-time strategy title from Massive Entertainment and Sierra set in an alternate timeline where the Berlin Wall never fell. The year is 1989 and the Soviet army is marching into Europe and, to make matters worse, invading America as well.

Players will take the role of a field commander tasked with taking back America's cities and suburbs. Completely destructible environments, team-based multiplayer action and fast, hard-hitting battles are the hallmarks of this Massive Entertainment title.

A release date has yet to be announced for the Xbox 360 version of the game. The PC version is slated for a September release across the US.
