marcus - Image 1Downloadable content for Gears of War 2 is already being worked on. In a recent interview with Joystiq, lead designer Cliff Bleszinski let it be known that gamers wouldn't have to wait long after the title hits to get their grubby little mitts on some additional content, and that it would ship "very soon within the [Gears of War 2] launch time frame."

DLC will apparently be "multiplayer map focused", which means we could potentially see some versus and or co-op modes added post launch. Bleszinski also stated that Epic simply wasn't ready to start talking about content pricing.

We'll keep our ears to the ground for more.
