In Blazing Angels 2, you'll be handling great thunderbirds of the past over European skies with one mission in mind: Find and destroy Adolf Hitler's weapons of mass destruction research centers. If you fail, the world will face a dark age like never before.

Ubisoft's Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of World War II is set for the PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. A demo is already available for download if you want to try ot out.

Long before Saddam Hussein was ever suspected of developing weapons of mass destruction, there was Adolf Hitler, or at least that's what the plot of Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII by Ubisoft suggests. In this flying combat sim, you'll be fighting over European World War II skies to take out vital Nazi research facilities to stop the Axis from creating the first nuclear bomb.

This video gives you a taste of what's in store for you when you enter the heat of battle. You'll be flying one of those cool, old-school planes while trying to elude defenses and taking out enemy planes. There's a lot of things to do in this game, and you'll be rewarded with a variety of missions to keep things interesting.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology from Namco Bandai is a new spin-off of the Tales RPG series on PlayStation platforms. It tells the tale of a kingdom under siege from descenders who want to take over the domain. You can create customizable characters and use the Flex Range Linear Motion battle system taken from the video game's predecessors to beat the bad guys and save everyone in your land.

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions from Ubisoft is a retro-style aircraft combat game that allows you to visit the bloodiest war in history with covert missions in store for you and the elite squadron that you command. Own the skies over Europe and thwart Hitler's plans to create weapons of mass destruction.

Here are five new screenshots from the upcoming flight combat simulation game Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions. It's being developed by Ubisoft Romania and will be released on platforms Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. This title had had many release dates in the past and the last we heard, it will finally be available this September.

Anyway, these screenshots show some of the locations each player will be visiting in Blazing Angels 2. In this title, players gets to fight alongside an elite Allied Squadron and the mission is to stop the Nazis from creating weapons of mass destruction. Plot sounds like the game was inspired by recent events it's actually set during the WWII.

In terms of features, Blazing Angels 2 is host to many prototype planes that can be upgraded as the players progress in the game. Multiplayer component is also present, of course, with choices ranging from co-op, squad-based, free for all, and the new capture the flag mode.

Flamboyant aerial maneuvers, intense dogfighting and a climactic finish involving a catastrophic mid-air collision - it's all here, with all the delicious next-gen trimmings in this video update of Ubisoft's Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions (PC, PS3, Xbox 360). We give you a sneak peek at what's new with the game that lets you become a fly in the Third Reich's ointment - or at least, one that's quite against its plans of world domination.

In this gameplay video, we get to see the player going through some basic aerial maneuvers, as well as flying down low through a city that's impeccably detailed. It's to note that the graphics here are very smooth, and sound utterly convincing, down to the strain that your engine makes as you gun the throttle.

After a few moments of diving, circling and typical flyboy behavior, the poop hits the fan as you're suddenly attack - and the frenzied dogfights begin. Flight simulator purists will love the fact that there's no missile lock-on nonsense here - it's just plain aiming with your targeting reticle and firing your plane's guns, with the hope that one of your rounds will make it to your bogey's gas tank. And such satisfaction when it does! BOOM!

August is just a little more than a week away, and with it, the impending release of Ubisoft's Blazing Angels: Secret Missions (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC). And while details are still sketchy on what sort of wings the game will slap unto each console's prospective pilots (It's got an ME-262 - it's gotta be good), we're letting the 360 owners in on an update.

We've just picked up word on Blazing Angels: Secret Missions' achievement list, which totals 50 tasks for the guys intent on getting all 1000 points. Tasks will include usuals like completing missions, as well as more time-intensive (but fulfilling) jobs like acquiring all of the game's aircraft. Here's a sampler, with the full list available at the read link:

• Mission 1: Complete mission 1 of the campaign.
• Complete Collection: Unlock all the planes in the single player campaign.
• Great Streak: Make a killing streak of at least 12 kills.
• Versatile Pilot: Achieve multiplayer kills with at least 15 types of different aircraft.

Blazing Angels: Secret Missions is currently scheduled for an August 28 release in North America, with a August 31 release in Europe to follow.

Ready for more ace pilot action? Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions' box art just landed on this side of the interwebs and we're trying to muster what little information we can from upcoming title.

Aside from the rain of media for Ubisoft's Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions at this year's Ubidays, little was known about the title. The video games casts the player as the leader of a secret pilot squad out to prevent the Third Reich from creating a weapon of mass destruction. Players will be able to choose from 50 different planes (authentic and prototypes) and complete 18 single player missions. The game also features multiplayer modes of up to 16 players.

In the game, you will be playing the character of the leader of Operation Wildcard, which is an undercover and elite pilot squad created by the American government. As your group is undercover, obviously, you belong to a secret organization.

Your main mission is to sabotage and destroy the Third Reich's plans of creating a weapon of mass destruction. But of course, things won't be handed out to you in a silver platter. In the course of your operations, you find out that the bad guys have their own elite team that will be pitted against yours.

As for the key features, Ubisoft promises 18 high-stakes missions for you to take part in, wherein you'll have to steal, secret weapons, destroy bridges, Zeppelins and more. The video you will see later on is on the Zeppelin Zapping gameplay. Anyhow, what else is in store for you here?

James Orry of UK gaming news site PRO-G reports that Ubisoft's Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions, has unfortunately been set for a delay of sorts. It's supposed spring release is now a more specific August 31.

In this iteration of the franchise, you play the leader of Operation Wildcard, an undercover and elite squad of pilots secretly created by the American government. Your mission is to stop the Nazis from creating a weapon of mass destruction. In the game itself, you get access to spy missions using some extremely hush-hush prototype aircraft, so your life as a spy isn't all that bad.

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions is to be released for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. The US is set to see the game a few days earlier as the North American release date is August 28.
