Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1This report from Gamasutra should erase any and all doubts lingering in your minds about just how successful Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii) truly is. The three DLC packs that the game released digitally for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles "only" managed to push 6.5 million units between the months of March and Mid-August 2009. How's that for a big performer?

Since their release, map packs 1 and 2 have scored more than four million downloads on Xbox Live and PSN combined.

Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1 Treyarch is also getting in on 4th of July celebrations in the US with a double XP weekend event for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii versions of Call of Duty: World at War.
