Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock cheats! - Image 1Let's face it. Not everyone is good at using both hands. That's especially true when playing games such as Activision's Guitar Hero III, where one of the achievements you can achieve requires you to go through the game playing on both lefty and righty mode.

While you could find a lefty friend to play the game for you, there's actually a cheat you can try out that should allow you to play the game with your dominant hand. Better yet, there's a video circulating YouTube that'll show exactly how to do just that.

The trick is has everything to do with using a mirror, as you will find out.

More on this mirror trick, including a video, after the jump!

First off, if you hate spoilers, you have no business reading the succeeding paragraphs. Just back away from this one, read another QJ article and be completely happy playing this nice title. Skipping this one won't ruin your life, we assure you.

Still reading? Don't say we didn't warn you. If you haven't bought The Simpsons yet but are planning to, you'll either be real happy or real pissed with what you'll find out. This is your last chance to back off.

Duffestein - Image 1

Destructoid reports that EA gave them a spoiler of sorts regarding this title. It turns out that there's a Wolfenstein level hidden in the game which can be unlocked. For the uninitiated, Castle Wolfenstein was one of the fathers of FPS and is certainly an icon of modern gaming.

Destructoid explains "in the Medal of Homer stage, Bart and Homie are hired to steal white flags from a town trying to surrender so that they can get firebombed. However, if you put your chores aside and transform into Bartman and fly across the channel you can snake around an abandoned warehouse and find the hidden area. Smash a few boxes out of your way and you'll find a door to Duffenstein, a replica of the great old-school FPS Castle Wolfenstein."

So there you have it. If you feel like revisiting the old school, The Simpsons will give you a chance to get some nostalgic treats. Otherwise, just enjoy the game and the nice movie, too. The Simpsons is available on Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP owners everywhere.

Australian and UK editions of The Darkness exclusive content - Image 1If you've been playing The Darkness, you'll probably be wanting to unlock every little thing in the game. If that's the case, here's a little tidbit you may not have heard yet.

Apparently, you can dress up your Berserker Darkling in a Golf get-up. Dress him up and explain to your friends why your Darkling has anger issues, he was beaten by Tiger Woods or something like that. Anyway, to get the costume, dial the phone number 555-5664 on a phone in-game and watch the hilarity begin.

So there you have it, a new tip that should make playing the game more fun, which I honestly thought was impossible after trying the game out a bit. I wonder if there are any other phone numbers that would unlock stuff in the game? Hopefully, there are even more unlockable costumes like a football helmet for a darkling, or even a silver jumpsuit like Mini-me.

The first iteration of the NBA 2K series was first released on the Dreamcast back in 1999. Now, NBA 2K7 has hit the newer consoles and have some people raving that it has better graphics, gameplay, and features than its previous iterations. Among the features that have been added are holiday themed uniforms unlocked with certain codes. For example, a code changes the New Orleans Hornets uniform into its special Valentine's Day version.

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, you can try new uniforms for some teams in NBA 2K7. The publisher of the game, 2K Sports, has revealed a special cheat code that unlocks green uniforms for the Bulls, Knicks, and Celtics. To unlock the St. Patrick's Day uniforms, simply enter :tpk7sgn at the cheat code screen, and enjoy. Check out the pics of Stephan Marbury, Ben Wallace, and Paul Pierce.

Red Nose Day in LEGO Star Wars Ii: The Original Trilogy - Image 1Red Nose Day in LEGO Star Wars Ii: The Original Trilogy - Image 2

Comic Relief is a charity organization that raises money for the poor countries in Africa and the disadvantaged people living in UK. Now, what does this group have to do with LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and TT Games? Well, a lot. Especially now that the publisher just proudly announced that it is supporting Comic Relief's Red Nose Day.

To those not familiar with this occasion, Red Nose Day is a special date for UK because this is the one day that the whole nation raises money for good cause in the name of comedy. Speaking of which, this is where TT Games comes in. According to the publisher, there's a hidden cheat for the game that unlocks red noses for all characters including Darth Vader himself.

Since this is all for a good cause, we won't be telling you the code. If you want red noses for LEGO Star Wars II, head over to the game publisher's official site (via the Read link below) and think about donating to reveal the cheat. We really hope that you guys will support this.

See, we even attached the images above to further entice you. Happy Red Nose Day!

Map of hidden orb locations in Crackdown - Image 1

Calling all completists! Yes, if you're the type who needs to find every single item there is in a game, well... you're not alone. And when it comes to Microsoft's Crackdown, it seems that someone may have beaten you to it.

Crackdown, which hails from the halls of RealTime Worlds, has a system which allows players to enhance their skills and abilities by gaining orbs. For example, XP is raised by defeating enemies, who then release Experience Orbs for you to pick up. However, the game is also peppered with hidden orbs which enhance all abilities, thus making it one of the most important finds within the game.

There are 300 hidden orbs in Crackdown, and as it turned out, Herman Gatevold, CAP Cbass, and Zamees found them all, took pictures, and posted it in a Picasa account for all the world to see and also to serve as a useful guide for those who may have some difficulty looking for those darn sparkly things.

Check out Herman Gatevold's gallery by clicking on the "Read" link below, and then feel free to start your orb-hunting expedition.

Xploder Cheat SavesEasy way in, easy way out. When you're talking about spending hours on collecting ammo and weapon upgrades, you can either love it or hate it. If you hate it, it could either be because you might think it's pointless or that you suck at it. Whatever case, there's no need to panic just yet.

From the same guys that brought you the Xbox 360 Media Centre comes an easy way out to help you slide to the finish. Under the Xploder brand name, Fire International Ltd. is releasing their Cheat Saves pack that helps you unlock levels, stock up on ammo, access secret characters and the like. You'd be able to download game saves for Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Call of Duty 3, Saints Row, and Project Gotham Racing 3.

You could free up some space in your 360 Memory Unit by backing up other game saves to your PC via the X-Link cable. There's going to be an RSS feed incorporated into the system so that it could update you with the latest game saves available on the xploder.net site.

Notched at £ 14.99 (roughly US$ 19.21), you can make sure that cheaters always win.

Golf Balls? You paying for Golf Balls? There's an interesting point being brought up on Ars Technica regarding the unlockables in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. It was earlier reported that the new golf game has a couple of unlockables you could earn through dedicated play, from getting new characters to owning everything in the pro shop.

Electronic Arts has made it a lot simpler for the gamer without a lot of time on his hands, as you can now pay through Xbox Live to unlock the special items in the game (even before the game is released, no less). This little tidbit brings up the issue of how we play certain games.

Unlockable content has been a staple of many different sorts of games. From gaining hidden powers or secret vehicles to acquiring the rare materials to make super-weapons for RPG games, it's the extras that often get you hooked. Not everyone likes this idea of paying for the cheat though, and you could safely say that QJ is on the fence on that matter.

Being able to see some nifty new content is great and all, even if there's a small price to get it, though maybe not at the cost of destroying gameplay mechanics (as in MMOs). In the same vein, there's that feeling of accomplishment you get from working your way to catching all 150 seven bajillion pokemon, but if the game starts to feel like work because of it then you've lost the reason for playing in the first place.

EA might be out to grab more cash from us (instead of offering actual cheat codes, sigh...), but you can be sure someone's going to be willing to plunk down some cash to get those last few extras. Under what circumstances does it feel alright for you to cheat past something, and would you ever be willing to actually pay for that chance? Do you think EA is showing good business sense, or just trying to grab extra cash from perfectionist players?
