BBC presenter Jonathan Ross gave out a little slip on his Twitter account last night, in a post revealing that he's been asked to work in Fable 3. Obviously that means development is in some kind of swing (maybe full, maybe not full).

Mario games have always been popular in the UK, and Super Mario Galaxy proves it by beating out the likes of Fallout 3, Fable II, and even GTA IV for BAFTA's Best Game Award. The GAME Award this year goes to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, as voted on by gamers.

It took way more than ten business days (more like twenty?), but Microsoft has finally gotten around to fixing the whole Fable 2 Limited Collector's Edition DLC code fiasco that left LCE owners without a means to get their exclusive DLC.

Fable 2 took a hit on the the UK charts last week as Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) launched in the UK last October 31st. The post apocalyptic action RPG took the top spot as it sold more copies in two days than all the games in the franchise combined. Microsoft has put up a Fable 2 support page on Xbox.com where those who bought a copy of the Fable 2 LCE that didn't come with a DLC voucher card can log in with their Windows LIVE ID and ask Microsoft to email them their DLC codes. The site says the codes will be sent out within five working days, but there seems to be a bit of a problem with the timeframe. More in the full article.

Looks like the problems that plagued Fable II's Limited Collector's Edition didn't stop it from becoming a best seller. The game debuted on top spot in the UK, with Far Cry II having to settle for second best. UK gamers doesn't seem to like survival-horror though - Dead Space only debuted at 6th place.

If you went out to get yourself a Limited Collector's Edition of Fable II, don't be surprised if the box lacks the promised DLC card.
