FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage - Image 1Fans waiting for more information (and eye candy) for Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for the Xbox 360 and PSP will be happy to now that the game's official site is now open for business. The game's official site provides for more screenshots and trailers, as well as a sampler of FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage's musical tracks.

Another feature the guys may want to look at is a basic introduction to this title, and how it's been rated by players over in Europe. We imagine this site's targetting the guys here in North America, given that FlatOut's scheduled for an October 2 release in that part of the world. The site's also got early details for FlatOut Head On for the PSP.

The official site is available for viewing via the read link below - we'll let you know if any new info pops up, particularly on FlatOut's upcoming PSP port

If you ever find yourself craving for the old Destruction Derby titles from Psygnosis, there's a next-gen game out there waiting to hit you with some nostalgic treats. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage from Bugbear Entertainment and Empire Interactive is the third installment of the FlatOut series and is a remake of FlatOut 2. Check out the screens and see the difference.

Aside from new gameplay features, FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage enjoys a visual overhaul to give it that eye-popping next-gen flavor. Collisions are now as real as they come, and the physics are unforgivingly lifelike to make for some serious automotive mayhem.

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage has already been released in PAL territories. It debuted last July in Europe and busted out last month in Australia. North American fans will get a taste of angry iron come October. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage is a Microsoft Xbox 360 exclusive.

You want it fast - you got it. You want destruction - you got it. Experience the bone crunching action of FlatOut. Soak up the pressure of 12 competitive drivers trying to take each other off the track. Feel the pleasure and the pain of the explosive Frag derbies. Take destruction to the next level.

What do you get when you cross a favorite American pastime with big, powerful muscle cars? Why, you get Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, that's what, and we see the rather weird but fun-looking amalgamation here in this gameplay video update of the game that promises to deliver motorized mayhem where it counts. We get you the skinny on what's it like burning rubber on astroturf, as well as sending yourself flying into the field goal.

While just being a little bit disturbing with some odd humor on the side, this gameplay video, titled Exclusive Field Goal, has us rocketing through a football field, running down giant cardboard cutouts of football players before sending our own driver (being us, apparently) hurtling through the field and into the field goal like a hapless ragdoll. The squelch of the impact is something that should be heard - just as much as the video itself should be watched.

Utter car craziness, FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for the Xbox 360 is. Updates as we get them, and enjoy the video!

Taking road rage to the limit and beyond never looked so cool and so gratuitous - that is, until Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for the Xbox 360 came along. We get you out from under the hundred-car pileup and right at the top of the scrap heap with this video update of the game that may just be what the doctor ordered after a long hard drive from work.

The first video's all about the game's intro, showing off the title's smooth graphics and impressive car damage engine (as well as the explosions). The second video, Carnage Creating gameplay, puts us behind the wheel and lets us see for ourselves just how extreme and visceral a typical FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage race can be - and we can't help but fall in love with the wanton destruction. Forget getting to the checkered flag first, happy time is crashing time!

Enough spoilers from us, enjoy the videos!

Intense hardcore racing action and a blatant disregard for motorist safety in this gameplay video update of Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for the Xbox 360. We give you all the crashes, smashes, and pile-ups that should leave any armchair racing enthusiast at the edge of their seats.

The first video, Deathmatch Derby - Derby Bowl gameplay, features some awesome-looking gameplay that's very straightforward: drive around in an enclosed space to make scrap metal of your opponents. No checkpoints, no hairpin curves, no drifting - it's just you and a bunch of other drivers trying to take each other out. Gotta love the explosions in this one.

The second video, Desert Oil Field gameplay, shows how chaotic an actual race in FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage can get - and suffice to say, it's quite the experience. The graphics are smooth and fluid, there's debris flying everywhere, you see the competition fighting tooth and nail - or rather, screw and wheel - to get that spot in the podium. Oh, and the track's absolutely beautiful - but you probably won't be able to take it all in, as you're too busy trying to wreck other cars without getting wrecked yourself.

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage - Image 1

A couple of goodies for the racing fans are now available for download on Xbox Live - Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and FlatOut Racing and Derby. Now, before you run over to your 360s, take note that the Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights demo is not available in Japan or South Korea while FlatOut Racing and Derby is only available in Europe.

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's go over the basics of the two video games. First off is Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights from Juice Games and THQ. It's a racing video game that centers around the real world event - Hot Import Nights. A number of character and car customization options will be available in the game, plus a lot of cars and tracks to choose from.

Empire Interactive and Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage on the other hand, takes the more painful side of racing (read: ragdoll physics). For the lack of a better term, we can probably say that demolition derby is the video game's forte.

Anyway, Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights weighs around 1.31GB while FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage will take up around 751.1MB of your drive space.

Enticing the aggressive driver in you, Empire Interactive and Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage combines the best of FlatOut 2's rag-doll Olympics and (sweet mother!) next-gen graphics that could rival that of one other game on a competing platform. Bashing aside, however, FlatOut does have the beauty and physics to boast, and we're about to hang ourselves out to dry - from all the drool.

After recently announcing all 45 of achievements attainable in the game, this new "crash" video teaser rolls out and announcements run throughout the Net about the game going gold. We bet European Xbox 360 players have already downloaded the demo to sample their driving skills (or lack thereof) and prep themselves for a region-wide release later in June, if not June 22.

Achieve these FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage Achievements! - Image 1

Thanks to a tip from Jonathan, we just found out that Achieve360Points has released a list of achievements for Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage.

The achievement list notes 45 different possible achievements that can be attained, garnering players with up to 1000 achievement points for their gamerscore. More importantly, a lot of them really bring out the drive to excel (or go nuts on the track), and there's no better feeling than winning an important race.

For instance, you can pick up the Online Race Pro achievement (for 20 points) by picking up 25 online race wins. If you're more of a demolition derby expert rather than a racer, you can also grab an achievement like Live to Crash (for 25 points) by wrecking three or more cars in a single race.

Currently, however, four of the achievements have yet to be properly unlocked. Still, the achievements that are already up for grabs are going to be tough to get. Why not check out their list to see what you're going to have to contend with when you get your copy of the game?

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage - Image 1

Talk about a lot. We've got 31 new screenshots of Bugbear Entertainment's FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for you, and they're ready for viewing.

Unlike most other racers, FlatOut doesn't mind not taking itself seriously. Where else can you see a competition to see who can fling the driver out of the car the farthest, right? All in all though, fast cars plus wacky racing with a lot of nitro-boosted acceleration in between sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon at the races.

In any case, enjoy these screenshots and wait patiently for the game to come out, alright? Don't worry: the release is just a few days' away.
