Four player co-op in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC). Sounds pretty sweet right? Too bad it's not going to happen. At least that's what game producer Shawn Storc said when news about this alleged feature came out. For more on this, check out the full article. |

As promised, developer TT Games brought Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS) to GameCity 2007 in Nottingham. Producer Jonathan Smith showcased some of the features of the upcoming game, particularly the many ways to play using the Wii.According to Smith, there's been confusion about having a light saber peripheral for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga's iteration on Nintendo's console. TT Games has no plans to release a light saber, but he jokingly duct-taped a Wii Remote to his son's light saber before saying, "Here is the Wii light saber, TM. Anyone can make one of these at home." Smith believes it wouldn't be easy for gamers to go through Lego Star Wars with a Wii light saber because they're not Jedi, but there are still some moves they can pull off. One is grapple feature, which allows players to move from one grapple point to another by flicking the Wiimote upwards. From what we've previously heard, this Lego flavored Star Wars title will include all six movies in the saga. What's interesting to note is that there'll be 120 playable characters and you'll be able mix things up a bit by placing them where they're not supposed to be. With online co-op for the 360 and PS3 versions, fun awaits if we can put Luke and Anakin fighting side by side. For more details on what happened at GameCity '07, click on the Read link below. Fans who plan on picking up Traveller's Tales' and LucasArts' LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Xbox 360 will be pleased to know that the achievements for the game have already been revealed. Standard achievements such as finishing all levels in story mode, collecting all the characters, and killing a certain amount of enemies are present as well as a few others that gamers will normally get by playing through the game once. Imaginative achievements like Let the Wookie Win which you can complete by ripping the arms of 25 other characters and Crowd Pleaser which gives you 20 points for breaking Jar Jar Binks 20 times should keep gamers busy long after finishing the game. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (also available for the PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and Wii) is slated for launch on November 6 in the U.S. this year with a Europe and Australian release following soon after on November 9. The full list of achievements in the full article! |

LucasArts and Traveller's Tales' LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS) allows gamers to relive all six Star Wars chapters in a very unique way. After playing through the initial releases of the game, I can openly say seeing a Lego Chewbacca carry C3P0 on his back is a dream come true for any Star Wars geek. The game introduces new levels, characters and features not found in the LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy making this worth picking up even if you have the first two games. The levels added include Episode II's high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessel. In addition to this, the Mos Espa Pod Race and Gunship Cavalry have been redesigned making it less linear than before. The game will be relatively unique for every platform. Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be getting online two-player co-op play. The Wii version will obviously be getting Waggle, while the DS version of the game will be taking advantage of the handheld's touchscreen. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga would make a solid addition to any gaming library. If you're planning on picking this up for yourself or a loved one, the game is slated to be released this September 11. More details and screenshots in the full article! |

The last time we heard from Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, we were promised that we'll actually be able to play through the entire space opera in cute Lego form - from Anakin's beginnings as a Padawan to the destruction of the Empire (and Ewok-related festivities). We've seen the screenshots, we've busted our sides laughing at the trailer, and now, from E3, is a gameplay video of the multiplatform title Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga that shows clips from all the chapters in Star Wars. One thing's for sure - despite the cuteness of Lego, the scale of the game is amazing. The lightsaber action is fast and furious, the animations smooth and crisp - and the environments convincing and spectacular. There's some very fun-looking ship-piloting action on the side, too. Greatest point of the video: playing as Darth Vader and force-choking that accursed Jar Jar Binks into submission. OH YEAH! Enough spoilers from us, enjoy the video! |

You've seen the trailer, and now here's some sweet screenshots coming for you that's distinctlyLego Star Wars: The Complete Saga flavored. Yes, it's the game no one thought would actually work. So far, it's shaping up to be a complete laugh riot, perfect for gamers looking for a breath of fresh air from all the drama and trauma.
Not much on the quantity department, but quality's the name of the game and things are looking pretty nice. The Lego characters look cute and chunky - have you ever seen Jabba look THAT adorable? The lightsaber effects are great, and while the stages look flat, it does its job of giving players the feeling that they're actually playing in the movie's environments - barring the fact that the characters and vehicles ARE indeed made up of Lego blocks. In any case, updates about this highly-anticipated multiplatform game as we get them. In the meantime, why not enjoy the screenshots? The rest of the screens await after the jump! |

Lucas Arts gives us a breath of fresh air - as well as some much-needed hilarity in an industry saturated with mature, story-driven titles - with the latest trailer of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, slated for a Fall release. Offering players the chance to rebuild the adventure of the timeless space opera, the latest entry in the surprisingly-popular series encompasses all six chapters of Star Wars, from the Phantom Menace to the Return of the Jedi. It's also to note that no one will be left out in the experience, with the game being published on all next-gen consoles, along with the Nintendo DS.
Check out the video, as it's just too funny to pass up on. Oh, and watch for the game's rendition of the infamous 'Who's your Daddy' scene - comedy gold! |
