The Armored Front Pack is coming to F.E.A.R.2: Project Origin (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) on May 21st, thanks to Warner Bros. Interactive. With the two new maps (Decoy and Conductor), as well as four unique character heads to swap up, it's sure to get that chill rise up again.

Just in time for a February 10 release in North America, FEAR 2: Project Origin has now gone gold for all of its platform versions, namely the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

QORE subscribers got their dose of Alma since the 15th of January, with the F.E.A.R. 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) demo having been made available to them via the PSN. Oh the joys money can buy! Not to worry, though. You won't have to writhe with envy in that dark corner cos Warner Bros. Interactive has now announced a date for everyone else.

It's been confirmed by Warner Bros. that the demo for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) will be coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 via their DL services, PSN and XBL, respectively.

While ports are definitely a good way of spreading the love, so to speak, when it comes to game titles, there are still those instances that also do contribute to the negative end of the spectrum. Case in point, Monolith's F.E.A.R. (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) franchise.

Score one for Warner Bros. They've apparently been able to convince the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) to lift the ban on F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (Xbox 360, PS3, PC). More details after the jump.

Sorry to the Australians who were waiting on this game: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) was refused classification by the Australian government, meaning the game cannot be sold in stores (not legally, anyway) - unsurprising, but disappointing nonetheless.
