UK readers, here's your chance to win your very own Xbox 360 and a copy of Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. Activision and Bullying UK have teamed up to give UK residents to win the console and the game by just answering a simple question Bullying UK's website. The contest is open to everyone in the UK aged seven and up (no point in letting anyone younger participate since the game is rated seven and up). To enter one only has to visit Bullying UK's website, answer a question anyone who's watched the movie can answer, and give their email addresses. The console up for grabs is the core unit and ten runners up will also receive a copy of the game. The contest ends on November 23. If you want to enter (and you're older than six), then follow the read link below. For those who won't be able to participate... well, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe (PS2, PS3, PSP, DS, Wii, Xbox 360) is already in stores so go buy yourself a consolation prize. |

Activision has announced that the Spider-man: Friend or Foe demo can be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The game allows players to choose from either Spider-man, the Green Goblin, or even Venom as they battle across Tokyo roof tops to battle Doctor Octopus. Those who do finish the demo will get a cheat code to unlock one of the sidekicks in the full game. The full game looks to be pretty sweet. Gamers will be getting a good 1000 achievement points if they finish all 12 in-game achievements as well as the chance to play as some of the more memorable characters in the Marvel universe. Aside from Tokyo, players will even get a chance to visit exotic locations including Egypt and Nepal. Spider-man: Friend or Foe is slated for this October 2 on the Xbox 360, PS2, Nintendo DS, Wii, PC, and PSP. Judging from the variety of consoles this game will be released on, it looks like everyone will get a chance to swing into action. |

In Activision's Spider-Man: Friend or Foe (PS2, PS3, PSP, DS, Wii, Xbox 360), we know that the friendly neighborhood web-crawler is going to team up with some of his greatest foes. What we don't know is how it turned out that way, or how Spidey is going to convince a hardened villain to fight by his side. These questions and more are answered in this developer interview of Spider-Man's latest adventure.
So, what really happened? It seems that during a typical night out, while engaging in typical villainy, the bad guys in Spidey's turf were suddenly kidnapped by an unknown organization. Nick Fury then comes into the scene, deputizes Spidey, and asks him to find out what's up. Our friendly neighborhood web-head agrees, and soon he's duking it out with the same baddies that got kidnapped. Only this time, they're under mind control. Thankfully, a righteous beatdown is just what the doctor ordered for brainwashed super villains, and this is where the bad guys decide to team up with Spidey to get some payback. So the formula is set: find villain, defeat villain, get villain to perform wickedly-cool moves with Spider-Man. How is that not awesome? Lots more info in the video below. Enjoy! |

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is just about every where you look these days. From the big screen to just about every console or platform, you'll probably catch the lovable web head leaving his mark. In Spider-Man: Friend or Foe (PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Nintendo Wii and DS) Spidey is ready for another go, teaming up with the most unlikely of characters, as well as beating up a host of bad guys in the process. Here we have the various screenshots of Spider-Man: Friend or Foe across the various platforms it slated to come out for. You can see the varied style of both visuals and gameplay in each platform, mostly owing to the fact that they all have different developers working on them. (Next Level Games for Xbox 360, Wii and PS2; Artificial Mind & Movement for PSP and DS; Beenox for the PC version) Regardless, it definitely looks like another noteworth super hero video game fans will enjoy. The game is expected to be released this October 2 so watch out for it until then.

While the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man had quite the decent run with his movie games spanning from last-gen to next-gen, his upcoming adventure, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, DS), certainly looks to be a great departure from the realistic web-slinging experience that the movie games strove for. This departure being the canon-breaking aspect of Spidey teaming up with his sworn enemies, of course.
Yeah, you read that right. Spidey's going to be in cahoots with the likes of the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Venom - and in this recent video update, he's also teaming up with Rhino. We can't believe it either, and we can't stop geeking out at all the potential awesome this game is going to generate. I mean, look at the combo attacks between them! Enough talk from us, the video embed's below. Enjoy! |
