Super Street Fighter IV - Image 1Despite having confirmed that Super Street Fighter IV will remain between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, Capcom must've taken a step back to reconsider. What were they thinking? The latest from an arcade-legend franchise, not coming to the arcades? Sure enough, the publisher must've re-thought the whole thing, so they're now not ruling out the arcade version.

No arcade version - Image 1Street Fighter has long been a favorite in the arcades, with the best players in the world performing their best with the arcade stick over the console controller. Even with console versions of past iterations, many would still opt to buy joysticks to play in consoles. Unfortunately, it looks like people will be stuck with doing that in Super Street Fighter IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions since it has been confirmed: there won't be an arcade version.

Street Fighter IV - Image 1There's a Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) sequel coming, Capcom's Natsuki Shiozawa said so himself in Capcom Japan's official blog. We're not really sure how much of a "sequel" this actually would be, but he did indicate that an official announcement will be made soon.

Street Fighter IV - Image 1If none of the designs featured in the earlier MadCatz Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) fightsticks appealed to you, maybe the ones splashed on these new sticks will.

Evo 2009 Street Fighter IV final - Image 1If you consider yourself a Street Fighter fan, then there's no way you should miss this one, especially if you already missed the live stream yesterday. It's the final match of the Evo 2009 Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) event between two of the tourney's biggest names: Ryu master and SF legend Daigo Umehara, and the beast known as Justin Wong. The event saved the best for last - this fight was the best fight of the entire tourney.

Sagat is IMBA - Image 1Anyone who's played Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) often enough might've noticed that Sagat and Seth seem to come with a slight edge by default. Are they imba? Or are there just too many skilled Sagat and Seth users out there? Riyota Nitsuma, assistant producer for the game's arcade version, admits: "Yes, Seth and perhaps Sagat might have turned out a little bit stronger than we expected."

Sakura - Image 1Shortly after the events of Street Fighter II, Ryu's #1 fan, the ass-kicking schoolgirl, Sakura finds herself in the ring to face Zangief. Whose side will you be on? The big, evil-looking Russian wrestler? Or the cute schoolgirl with the white headband? I have my money on Sakura on that poll. Anyway, scoring the W over an opponent thrice her size surely put her under a bigger spotlight, so now the teenage fighter shows lets us in on the aftermath.
