While waiting for the long-awaited release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, here's an update for those of us waiting for the release of the latest one in the series, Street Fighter IV.

Capcom has revealed the frontal box art for the game, featuring Ryu and Chun-Li as the poster boy and poster girl. There are two different versions; one for North America, and one for Europe. Check them both out in the full article!

It's become a classic he said-he said. Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

It seems like 2009 will be the year for Capcom's Street Fighter to shine as both Street Fighter 4 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li will be making a simultaneous debut this coming March. In an interview with GameDaily BIZ, movie producer Patrick Aiello talks about some of the nuances from the upcoming movie as well as how the big screen adaptation will differ from the popular video game franchise. It's been teased, now it's official. Perennial fan fave and master of assassination Akuma, looks set to make an appearance in the next installment of Capcom's revered Street Fighter series.

According to Game|Life, Akuma will (as of now) not be playable in the arcade version, instead he'll only show up as a boss to kick the snot out of you should be doing extremely well against the CPU. Click on for screens and artwork of the dark master.

Many of you have probably heard about the decision Namco Bandai made to introduce a different Star Wars character into Soul Calibur 4 depending on your console.
