Square Enix issued a statement declaring their intention to publish a sequel to Gas Powered Games' Supreme Commander. This will be one of the first games Square Enix has published specifically aimed at western markets.

Eager fans of Aspyr Media's upcoming RTS game, Supreme Commander, might have to wait a little longer before you can grab a copy of the game. Gas Powered Games producer Marc Scattergood was recently called in for an interview regarding the 360 port for Supreme Commander. He elaborated on how the 360 version's controls were arranged, and also confirmed the development of a demo. More details are available in the full article.

Supreme Commander's lead designer Chris Taylor revealed last month that the game will be ported to the Xbox 360. Finally, confirmation is made official by no less than the publisher for the console, Aspyr Media.

Supreme Commander will arrive on the Xbox 360 in 2008. No news on a PlayStation 3 version, though - at least not yet. More details in the full article.
