Been on the lookout for a pretty good deal for your Xbox 360 accessories, eh? Then you might as well head out to Circuit City 'cause they've got a couple, actually. Starting this week, you can get your Xbox Live Vision camera for only US$ 29.99, as well as the wireless controller for US$ 39.99. Now, if you don't know your math, that's US$ 10 slashed off for each item. Oh, and not only that, it also comes with UNO, and a downloadable TotemBall to boot. So, if you're interested, go on, check them out while they're there. We're not exactly sure how long the deal's gonna be up, after all. |

Oh, before we move on to the lists, here's a short reminder from the Major: Remember, UU's is the number of Gamertags that have played a game. In the case of Arcade titles, that list is ranked by purchased games. That is why the Arcade titles may be ranked out of order on the top list. Some Arcade titles may be purchased by one Gamertag, but played by multiple Gamertags. 2006 Top Xbox 360 Titles (UU's)

It has been quite a while since we have heard something new about one of Xbox Live's top games, Uno. The game, wherein you have to yell "UNO!" when you only have one card left in their hand, has enjoyed tremendous success on the marketplace and at one time, it was even regarded as the biggest hit on Xbox Live Arcade. Now, Xbox Live members can download the Project Gotham Racing 3 Theme Deck for Uno at a price...100 Microsoft Points to be exact. The price may put you off a little, but on the bright side, it is available in all Xbox Live regions. |

Heres a video of the Xbox Live Vision Video Chat being used by some guys and a girl with a skunk. Yep. There wasn't a noticeable lag, and the sound quality didn't seem to suffer during the video chat. This device is going to be one of the biggest things to hit gaming since the light gun you used in Duck Hunt. Also, take note of the in-game pictures of Uno at the end of the video. Looks like fun! Hopefully we can see some more uses for the camera besides Uno and video chat sometime in the near future. Until then, check out this video and let us know what you think! Someone oughta add those gamertags above the video chat windows and ask them what they thought of the Vision. 'GiantCrabKiller' and 'PMS Tart'. At least, I think that's what they say. Have a look!

Microsoft and the Xbox 360 made their presence felt at the 10th Campus Party that took place at the Valencia International Trade Fair. The folks at Overpal.com joined the fun-filled event and took some videos and posted them at YouTube.com - just so we wouldn't miss the explosive demo of the freeform urban action game Crackdown.
Crackdown is an Xbox 360-exclusive game developed by Real Time Worlds led by Dave Jones, the creative mind behind Grand Theft Auto and Lemmings. Video number one shows the game trailer, the user interface, as well as glimpses of maps and control keys. Check out the firearms and explosives! Video number two is even more interesting. When the developers said that the game will make use of a new style of cel shading, well, there it is! Microsoft also showed off its Xbox Live Vision Camera with help from the video game incarnation of the classic card game UNO. Back in May, the first "Camera Enabled" game was released even though the camera is still not available to the public. Of course, a Microsoft Xbox 360 show just wouldn't be complete without Halo. Here, we take an inside look at the making of Halo 3. |

If you want to pitch a game for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, you better get in line. Next-gen.biz reports that Microsoft says it's being overwhelmed by new game pitches for Xbox Live Arcade. When Microsoft requested applications for Xbox Live Arcade game proposals, they had no idea of the tidal wave of interest they'd receive. At the Develop Conference today in Brighton, England, Microsoft's Jeff Sullivan said, "We're saturated." According to stats from the conference, 65 percent of Xbox Live users have downloaded an Xbox Live Arcade game, with downloads now at 5 million. The conversion rate is around 20 percent (from trying a demo to actually making a purchase). And that's impressive, compared with less than 2 percent conversion in the PC market. The top games are now Geometry Wars, Uno, Marble Blast Ultra, Gauntlet and Zuma. Sullivan offered some hints for those folks hoping to get their games onto Xbox Live Arcade. He said to try for:

UNO may seem to be an easy game, but when played with friends and relatives who have the competitive edge, the game turns into one exciting play. That may be the reason why it drew a lot of gamers when it hit the Xbox Live Arcade. Now if you're one of those gamers who like the Xbox Live Arcade version as much as the card game, here's a list of achievements that can be earned by playing the Live Arcade version of the now classic card game:

For a while now, Geometry Wars has been snagging in customers with its great demo. 39% of the people that download the demo actually buy the game. Thus it was and still is a very successful game. Now with the new Xbox live update, UNO has been released as a game demo and full game download on the marketplace. Yes, this is the card game where once a person has only one card left in their hand they are supposed to yell "UNO!" Hence the name, this new rendition of UNO was developed by Carbonated Games and40%-45% of the gamers that download the demo have bought the full version of the game. Maybe people are just so excited about the Xbox 360 camera, they bought UNO in advance? Possibly its the fact that there are theme decks with new card effects, whatever it is, UNO is having great success on the marketplace. |

Hang in there, UNO fans.Apparently, there is a problem with UNO matchmaking on the Xbox Live Arcade. When you try a ranked match, it puts each gamer into his/her own ranked lobby. So, no one gets matched up with anyone else. Kind of lame, eh? What does UNO's Carbonated Games do about it? Well, according to UNO Program Manager Richard Thames Rowan there is a patch in the works, and it is currently going through certification. Rowan said the patch will roll out very soon. |
