Undeniably every XBox 360 owner's dream: The ability to play homebrew in their console. But since we're all in agreement that, that happening would virtually be impossible, if not terribly difficult to achieve, we content ourselves with being able to play games burned in a CD. I'm pretty sure that you have been following the developments with Commodore4eva's tweaks for the Hitachi 46D and 47D, which is now on its second revision. And just recently a good friend of his, spectrum4eva has released F900 for the 47 to extract security sectors. But, these screenshots posted at XBox-Scene would shatter our seemingly quiet gaming world.

AvalaunchSurrealHD

Something this big (as big as that hard drive?) would inevitably lead to much speculation, debates and commotion. One of the pictures shows Avalaunch inconspicuously running in the background. These raised points that this could just be a new skin. And in one of the pictures, it had the Nintendo 64 emulator, Surreal 64. But what caught a lot of people's attention is this sentence - Shutting down the console will also turn off all controllers - that lead to debates between wired and wireless controllers. And last of the controversial photographs, from the anonymous but reliable source, is one that shows a massive hard drive space.

Some people take these photos with a grain of salt. Claiming that these are no question done using Photoshop. While others would like to believe in the possibility of this actually being true. Just recently, people from Team Xecuter claims that these photos are actually true without even the slightest touch of Photoshop. This claim just raises more questions and clamour for proof. Could they know something we don't? So, with all that said, it leaves us only with one question: Are you a skeptic or a believer?

"Shutting down the console will also turn off all controllers"

What on Earth you talking about QJ? This has never been discussed, where did you pull this from?? The debate is why the "shutdown controller" icon wasn't visible, an argument made by several of the many naysayers. The reason? Its due to the wired controller being plugged in.

I was going to post a similar factsheet as I last did in the last article on this topic, but "Terdinlage" said it better on xbox-scene.com:
Dumbass Things
1. It's the 360 Skin for XBMC!!!!

» This is real, I heard it on the news...

Seriously tho, who the hell runs this show? Why the hell are you dumb *%#@^ posting news that this might be a 360. Everyone and their grandma knows this is the cool xbmc for Xbox 1.

Yup, XBOX 1 you morons! You know, the one you can chip or softmod, put a big ass hard drive in and run homebrew like avalaunch and n64 emu. Please do an update to this article, you are losing cred by the second.

 » thats dumb

ok... anyone can have a HDD that big. you just need to make a USB one. simple as that. since there is no logo on the massive HDD, it is most likely connected USB.

 » *sigh*

if any of you did any research at all you'd know this is real, and its not what you think, its xbox 1 homebrew running on the xbox 360 using an exploit in the backwards compatibility mode, this will allow people to use xbox 1 homebrew, simple as that but its real... programmes like xbmc will run much better and be able to play hi def movies with ease if programmed to use the power of the newer console properly...

I say again for the n00bles, this is real but it is xbox 1 homebrew running on the 360's backwards compatibility function

 » uh

this isnt old news this is an update to the news they posted a couple days ago so lay the ***** off, and secondly if team xecuter says this is real its real. Team x would not want to ruin their credibility just over some stupid pictures. They have not once lied about anything so i look forward to the future of hombrew on 360

believe it, team xcecuter are reliable with this sort of thing because they are heavely involved with the modding scene and would not put up false statements on their site without proof. Alot of the major people/groups in the scene have said it is true. The method used to acheive this is not totally clear yet, the most speculated is a BC exploit.

This article is the 3rd of its kind that I have seen on this site. Why the hell aren't you people getting it? Remember how some group called "Team-Blackbolt," or something like that, released a new skin for the Xbox Media Center, a hombrew application that runs ONLY on the Xbox 1. This newly released skin made the Xbox 1's interface look exactly like the Xbox 360's Dashboard. It even says "XBox Media Center" in one of the pictures! Also, I know plenty of people with hard drives in their Xbox 1's, and most of them have something like 400-600 GB hard drives. These pictures are, without a doubt, pictures of an Xbox 1 (the first Xbox). They are NOT pictures of the Xbox 360. I know Team Xecuter knows more about both consoles than i'll ever know, but I have to say that they are WRONG. These pictures DON'T have anything to do with homebrew on the Xbox 360.

 » eh i think not...

I doubt its the skin on XBMC because here is an official screenshot of that

http://blackbolt.x-scene.com/?p=image&image=skins/mc360/screenshots/screenshot19.jpg

and if you notice instead of having 'b' it has 'back' and it does look considerably different.
