We already know that co-op is not in the cards for BioShock 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), so what exactly is the game's mutliplayer mode going to be like? Publisher 2K Games has the answer. A recent press release revealed that multiplayer in BioShock 2 will serve as a sort of prequel to the series, giving players a chance to experience the fall of the underwater city of Rapture.

As a follow-up to yesterday's screenshot bonanza, here's a new BioShock 2 video interview. In this one, creative director Jordan Thomas gives us an overview of Rapture and the changes it has undergone since players first encountered it in the first BioShock.

While this one isn't near its expected October release, Mafia 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) is handing out new screens for the upcoming title, thanks to 2K Czech. Check 'em out.

Borderlands (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) kinda dropped out of the radar after we all heard about the "OMG 650,000 guns in-game!" thing from Gearbox president Randy Pitchford. Those waiting for the game can rest assured, though, as it is apparently still a go for release this year.

A few weeks back, we had a report that the sequel dropped the whole "Sea of Dreams" as a subtitle. A few days after that, 2K reaffirrmed that people just confused things and that they will indeed have Sea of Dreams as the subtitle. Today, we're back to BioShock 2 - and just BioShock 2.

Whoopsie. Looks like there was some ma-hay-jor misunderstanding as to what title BioShock 2 (Xbox 360, PS3) will be carrying. It was reported last week that the sequel to the multi-awarded shooter has dropped the subtitle "Sea of Dreams". Then again, maybe not.

With the latest issue of Game Informer out, a whole vat of fresh info eventually surfaced about BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams. Oh, wait, sorry about that. 2K Games apparently dropped the 'Sea of Dreams' part already - it's just going to be BioShock 2 from now on. Meanwhile, it's very definite now: the game will have multiplayer, just not co-op.
