Activision is set to release a new track pack for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of  Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. This time, it's a track pack filled some great music from Interscope Records and is aptly named the Interscope Track Pack. Find out what tracks will be made available after the jump.

It may not be raining cats and dogs in the gaming world this week, but that does not mean there' s nothing to look forward to for the days between August 3 and 9. We've got a little bit of racing (GRID, Crash Time) for daredevils out there, and an adventure that'll sure to teach a lesson or two to  those youngsters who do not believe in monsters and who throw house parties when their parents are away (Monster Madness: Grave Danger).

If you thought Call of Duty: World at War (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS) is coming a bit too quick off the heels of the excellent Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), wait 'til you hear this one: another game in the franchise is coming out in 2009! Sega may not be the console manufacturing giant that it was in the early to mid-90's, but it's pretty happy where it's at right now. The publisher says it's in a good position to succeed and it's looking at companies like THQ to compete with. A bit of bad news has arrived regarding the entity that's now known as Activision Blizzard. The company sent out a press wire announcing that only five of Vivendi's games are expected to be published, leaving the future of the company's other titles in question. Making its way around the Internet is an intriguing new rumor related to Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii). This rumor is made interesting by virtue of it being a potential set list for the game. Find the rumor list after the jump!

Guitar Hero World Tour from Activision and Red Octane has someone that will draw in rock fans from all generations. Jimi Hendrix has been confirmed for the game and three of his greatest songs have been cleared for use. Details follow in the full article up next.

Here's a small reprieve for those planning to get both Guitar Hero and Rock Band games: according to Activision, Rock Band controllers can be used with the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii).
