On Shelves This Week - Image 1With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. More can be found in the lengthy full list after the jump.

Xbox 360 Weekend Warrior - Image 1Microsoft was certainly pushed up the wall this past week as Sony took over the spotlight at GamesCom in Cologne. We gotta give props where credit is rightfully due, and that props I personally have to give to Sony. Microsoft's presscon just wasn't as "oomph"-ish as it should have been. Their "biggest" announcement: Fable III; their biggest newsmaker: the 54% failure rate. All in all, it wasn't a very good strategy/ PR week for Microsoft.
