Activision has announced that it will delay the November release of
Bizarre Creations' next highly anticipated racing title, Blur ( Xbox 360, PS3 and PC), until
2010. The company said in a statement that it will be moving the games
release date from 2009 to give the development team more time to
enhance the game's innovative and distinctive online multiplayer
gameplay. |

A Mario Kart in a simulator's skin? Maybe. On closer inspection, Bizarre Creations' upcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 blast-em-up racer, Blur, has a bit of a Twisted Metal feel to it, or have I just gone too long without a good TM? Anyway, the guys at Bizarre Creations each give their take on their big project, and they've got it all on video, with gameplay footages to sweeten the ride. |

It was just around early last month when we reported of how Bizarre
Creations spilled the beans on their ex, Microsoft, describing them as
"getting cocky" at the tail-end of their partnership. Today, we have
another company coming forward airing out their being upset with
Microsoft. This time, it's Realtime Studios. Things apparently got
really cracked up in Crackdown 2. |

After setting Project Gotham Racing loose on the streets, Activision through Bizarre Creations is unleashing yet another racer into the scene - Blur. Judging by the press release, the powerups, and the blasting-off-the-streets bits, this one points more to the Mario Kart side of racing than PGR. More in the full article. |

The biggest thing(s) for Microsoft this week would be Bizarre
Creations' disclosure of their strained relationship in the past (can
you say awkward), as well as the resurrected motion-sensing controller
rumor that seems like it's actually gonna be here to stay. Juicy week,
huh? And that's just the tip of it all. |

It was supposed to be a promotional interview with Bizarre Creations for their new racer, Blur,
but somehow, it ended up with an interesting anecdote about the company
that Sony fanboys love to hate, Microsoft. Bizarre's creative director,
Martyn Chudley, divulged how their company's relationship with MS got
strained towards the end. "Cocky," I believe is how he termed it. |
