blur - Image 1Activision has announced that it will delay the November release of Bizarre Creations'  next highly anticipated racing title, Blur ( Xbox 360, PS3 and PC), until 2010. The company said in a statement that it will be moving the games release date from 2009 to give the development team more time to enhance the game's innovative and distinctive online multiplayer gameplay.

Blur - Image 1A Mario Kart in a simulator's skin? Maybe. On closer inspection, Bizarre Creations' upcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 blast-em-up racer, Blur, has a bit of a Twisted Metal feel to it, or have I just gone too long without a good TM? Anyway, the guys at Bizarre Creations each give their take on their big project, and they've got it all on video, with gameplay footages to sweeten the ride.

Realtime Worlds - Image 1It was just around early last month when we reported of how Bizarre Creations spilled the beans on their ex, Microsoft, describing them as "getting cocky" at the tail-end of their partnership. Today, we have another company coming forward airing out their being upset with Microsoft. This time, it's Realtime Studios. Things apparently got really cracked up in Crackdown 2.

Bizarre Creations - Image 1After setting Project Gotham Racing loose on the streets, Activision through Bizarre Creations is unleashing yet another racer into the scene - Blur. Judging by the press release, the powerups, and the blasting-off-the-streets bits, this one points more to the Mario Kart side of racing than PGR. More in the full article.

Bizarre Creations - Image 1It was supposed to be a promotional interview with Bizarre Creations for their new racer, Blur, but somehow, it ended up with an interesting anecdote about the company that Sony fanboys love to hate, Microsoft. Bizarre's creative director, Martyn Chudley, divulged how their company's relationship with MS got strained towards the end. "Cocky," I believe is how he termed it.

Bizarre Creations - Image 1Some preliminary details have been released about Bizarre Creations' new post-Microsoft project in the pages of French mag Joypad. It's a racing game with some distinct similarities to Project Gotham Racing games, only with one major difference.
