Gears of War - Image 1They've repeatedly denied that there will be a Gears of War 3 coming our way, but the secret's out of the bag now, and really, people aren't exactly surprised. In last Saturday's live 1 vs 100 game, Epic Games poster boy was asked by host Chris Cashman about the said upcoming shooter sequel, to which Cliff Bleszinski spilled some beans on Alex and some rumors surrounding her presence in the game.

Gears of War 2 - Image 1A huge update for Gears of War 2 today via press release! First up: some sales milestones. GoW2's already broken through the 5-million mark for worldwide sales, thus bringing overall series sales to 11-million. So to celebrate, Microsoft and Epic Games are announcing the new Dark Corners DLC Map Pack and an accompanying All Fronts Collection add-on retail bundle.

CliffyB Gears of WarTick-tocking like cogs in a gear, the Gears of War movie is moving along smoothly. The film hasn't been casted yet, much less the production started on, however, we do get some promising updates at the very least. Screenwriter Chris Morgan give us a status update on New Line Cinema and Epic Games' joint project. They're already talking about budget and how potentially epic this feature length movie can get. "All the stuff you want to see, we put that in there and then we blow it out a little more, even," says he.

Chair Entertainment - Image 1No, Epic's not making a game about chairs. The "Chair" in the title refers to Chair Entertainment Group, a Utah-based developer that Epic acquired last year. They're the ones responsible for the XBLA game Undertow. Chair's currently working on "very, very cool" product which, according to Cliff Bleszinski, will be announced soon.

Gears of War 2 - Image 1If you're one of the many who grabbed a Gears of War 2 Gold Lancer when it was made available to the non-Collector's-Edition-buying public yesterday, then you better play with it for as long as you can right now. A Microsoft rep has said that the public availability of the Gold Lancer was an error and they'll be taking back all of the Gold Lancers downloaded yesterday.
