The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Pure (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will only be "as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma". That's what Pure director Jason Avent told gaming website videogaming247. More from Avent after the jump.

If you grew up watching Tron, then you might want to know that Disney Interactive Studios has finally dated Discs of Tron for the Xbox Live Arcade. This updated version of the arcade classic looks pretty sweet and has the geeks here at QJ.NET going ecstatic. New gameplay videos have arrived for Turok featuring four new multiplayer levels for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Josh Bridge, lead level designer from Propaganda Games, put out the word that Turok's development phase is closing, and that the epic, prehistoric first-person shooter was getting polished for its big debut early next year.

Amidst all the amazing artwork and detailed diagrams depicting unified modeling language (UML), Bridge also clued that developers were patching up the game with their own additions. These include some ideas that couldn't go in to the game earlier on in development. More in store at the full article.

A few prominent Hollywood actors have signed on to lend their voices to Turok (PS3, Xbox 360), Propaganda Games and Disney Interactive Studios' upcoming FPS title. The protagonist, Joseph Turok, will be voiced by Gregory Norman Cruz. Turok's teammates in Whiskey Company will be voiced by the following:

Timothy Olyphant (Cowboy), Ron Perlman (Slade), Donnie Wahlberg (Shepard), William Fichtner (Logan), Mark Rolston (Cole), Chris Judge (Jericho), Lombardo Boyar (Gonzales), Gideon Emery (Reese), Josh Gomez (Parker), Jon Curry (Foster), Jason Harris (Carter) and Steve Van Wormer (Henderson).

Roland Kane, Turok's former mentor and the game's villain, will be voiced by Powers Boothe. Kane's mysterious henchman Grimes will be voiced by Sean Donnellan.

"The actors who lent their voices to Turok are a testament to both the magnitude of the project and the interest of top-notch talent," said Josh Holmes, VP and GM of Propaganda Games. "The characters in the story are paramount to the experience and we have assembled an outstanding cast to assure high quality performances across the board."

Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Turok will be released on February 5, 2008.

Our last update (and the first) on Disney Interactive's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was back in mid-July, after the publishers released a pair of videos and a few screenshots to admire. The video game adaptation of the second feature of C.S. Lewis' fantasy series would be served to gamers on almost every platform available.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian will see the return of the Pevensie siblings, in an effort to restore the throne of Narnia to young Prince Caspian. Features of the game will include the ability to play 20 characters in total, including all four Pevensies, Prince Caspian, and a minotaur.

Online and offline multiplayer was also mentioned, with an instant join, instant leave two-player gameplay experience. It was reported that Disney Interactive will include two exclusive scenes recorded by Walt Disney Pictures to the game. Expect all these to come to light when The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian hits your Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2, and Windows PC next year. Some hot titles are hitting the shelves this week, what with much anticipated titles like Heroes of Mana and Luminous Arc finally arriving. EA's explosive Madden NFL '08, which should sell like hotcakes, will also be available on all platforms.

DS owners are getting much love - noteworthy titles include Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon that promises to take the favorite farming game deeper into RPG territory. High School Musical: Makin' the Cut also expands the library by adding a sing-and-dance game for all ages.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics. Yet another shot at making a video game based on phenomenal tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons, D&D: Tactics faithfully implements D&D 3.5 rules as players follow the story of a young child. Taking either good or evil alignment ultimately decides the ending. Co-op allows players to work together, while deathmatch mode pits them against each other.
