It's not as much of a shocker as, say, Cactuar being already taken, but it's just as much of a news. ESRB has finally come out with their rating for Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). Like with the other iterations of the franchise, XIII has been tagged with a T for Teen rating.

This is the week, guys! No more filler games! Well, alright, so we still have a couple of titles from the Imagine and Petz series, but never mind that. Big titles are coming out this week, and the publishers did not fail to beef up the lineup just before the Black Friday sales. It's a deluge of games, alright. Can your wallet handle it?

When Ignition Entertainment first announced Deadly Premonition, a new survival horror game from Access Games, they had it flagged as an Xbox 360 exclusive. The ESRB begs to differ, however.

Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) has been given the M rating by the ESRB. Their justification for it: "sexual overtones" and "seduction mini-games" are included in the program.

We have a rather sizeable haul of new games this week. When your video game is all about the evils that will land you in hell, expect controversies and uproar left and right. This is true for Electronic Arts' video game interpretation of the Divine Comedy, Dante's Inferno (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360). Their latest predicament involves a nanny group not being so happy about the game's "Bad Nanny" achievement.

Electronic Arts has detailed the launch DLC line up for BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins. Similar to what Microsoft and Turn 10 are doing for Forza Motorsport 3, this seems like a plan to trip up used game sales. Details after the jump.

The ratings from ESRB for games Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) and Kamen Rider are out, and needless to say, they've gone the unconventional route of providing rating descriptions with a whole lot of italics for emphasis, and ellipses for dramatic pauses.

Big for handhelds this week would be Capcom's and Namco Bandai's brawler offerings on the PSP, Fate/Unlimited Codes (available via PSN) and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, respectively.
