No cheating! - Image 1Xbox 360 owners all over were not at all pleased when the latest Xbox 360 update was set to prevent the use of "unauthorized storage devices" for the console. Datel, too, expressed their disappointment with this development. While users have basically begun verbally crucifying Microsoft for the decision, a spokesperson explains their side. The reason? Cheaters.

Halo 2 - Image 1It must be really frustrating to have a cap on your friends list for the Xbox Live. If you want to know the real reason why you can't have your 101st friend, it's because of Halo 2. Yes, the Xbox original is still haunting XBL, thanks to the power of its solid community.

This Is Vegas - Image 1 In case you forgot, Midway once had an open-wold title called This Is Vegas in development for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. It would be understandable if this game hasn't crossed your mind in a while, though, as even before Midway's troubles started getting really bad it had dropped off the radar. Just recently, there was some talk that the game had been canceled, but according to new Midway owner Warner Bros., that's not true at all.

Six Days in Fallujah - Image 1And the crossfire just heats up some more with Atomic Games and Konami's controversial Six Days in Fallujah (PS3, Xbox 360) title. We've heard from the naysayers, now it's time to hear from the defenders. And (un)surprise of all surprises, it's the soldiers defending the game themselves.

Aaron Greenberg - Image 1Aaron Greenberg shares a few words with G4TV and lets us in on a little more PS3-sniping, and more citing of figures that the Xbox 360 and Wii have that the PS3 does not. What's more, he expects Sony to drop the price of their console if they want to stay competitive. More info after the jump.

destruction!!! - Image 1You'd want to see this video we found for the pilot episode of Human Wrecking Balls on G4TV. It's the Pumphrey brothers with Blair Herter bricking the PS3, the Wii and the Xbox 360 to test which one is the most durable. And by bricking, we mean that literally. As in cement bricks. See what we mean after the jump. Warning: not for the faint-hearted.

E3 logo - Image 1For those with invites, Microsoft's Briefing prior to this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will be beginning this Tuesday, July 10. And while we'll be waiting to see what sort of surprises MS will be featuring at the event, we've picked up some details on what to expect before the festivities start.

First off, Microsoft's E3 Briefing will be taking place outside the Santa Monica High School Amphitheater. Complementing this outdoor experience is a giant HD screen with an equally-sized surround sound system to ensure that visitors hear everything loud an clear.

For the guys who don't have invites (and aren't too confident of their Solid Snake cardboard-sleuthing skills), you can also catch G4TV's coverage of the pre-show and briefing at 9 p.m. ET 6 p.m. PT, or Xbox.com's webcast coverage at 11:30 p.m. / 8:30 p.m. PT. There's also Major Nelson's video coverage that'll be available this week, and an HD video expected to be released next week via Xbox Live Marketplace.
