Tecmo hasn't anything yet, but it appears that they've quietly updated Ninja Gaiden 2 for the Xbox 360. The new patch reportedly fixes several of the game's existing issues, though you may want to read the rest of the details over in the full article.

A release schedule of what seems to be the March DLC lineup for Harmonix and MTV Games' Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2) has surfaced. We're tagging this one as a rumor for now, but the lineup - which includes songs from artists like Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Evile and Nine Inch Nails - sure does look interesting. Microsoft's being tight-lipped about Crimson Skies 2 allegedly being in development, as GameFAQS poster and vigilant OXM reader Xanatos11 reports (props to EuroGamer's Rob Purchese for the find).

Rumors started flying thick and fast when the April Edition of OXM did a piece on the top five games we're not supposed to even know about. Guess which game on that list got gamers all up in a riot? A 'rumored' sequel to the sleeper hit Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. Cue Sopwith Camels flying overhead in a V formation and many shoot-em-up fans screaming in jubilation.

Why are they so quiet about it? The answer's in the skies - well, not really, but a quick look at Microsoft's upcoming releases would give you a hint. Halo 3. Mass Effect. Fable 2. Alan Wake. All big titles, and definitely more than enough for the Xbox 360 community to chow down on. Throwing Crimson Skies 2 into the mix could be a bit premature on Microsoft's part, so they're probably waiting when we're all happy and stuffed before going in for the kill and leaving us completely blown away.

This isn't all just speculation, of course. If anything, the developer's website (Airtight Games) is showcasing what appears to be prototype game concepts that, according to the post, "look devilishly ripped straight out of the Crimson Skies world." It's not much of a stretch to think that a sequel IS indeed in the works, and we're all just being set up for a massive punchline that's going to have a lot of jaws hanging on the floor.

Still not convinced? Here's the kicker, taken straight from the Current Project page of the company: "Airtight Games is currently working with one of the industry's leading publishers on a major unannounced title." It doesn't say it outright, but it does open up the possibility. But we'll never know for sure until the game's 'projected' release date, which is as vague as can be (Holiday of 2008 or sometime around 2009).

Over the course of a few months, we've learned a lot about the upcoming hit Grand Theft Auto 4 from Rockstar North for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 (PS3), from gameplay to release date and even a glimpse of the title's plot. However, the ones below seem like the biggest yet.

Before the juicy part though, we have to warn you that we just raised two of our biggest and reddest flags that stand for "Rumor Alert" and "Spoilers Ahead". It's up to you if you want to continue reading or not. With all that jazz said and done, here goes...

According to poster Jadex9 from the GameFAQS boards, the main character of GTA IV is not actually Nikko Bellic but his cousin Roman Petronov. Petronov went to Liberty after having problems with the paramilitary/Mafioso hybrid wing in Estonia. He then invited Bellic to ask for help with his problems with shady characters trying to get into his Taxi-Firm Roman works on a co-operator term.

To be able to familiarize yourself in the game, a couple of prologue missions will be available at the start. These are where you'll play as Nikko Bellic. Before the prologue ends, Nikko goes to his cousin's associate, Mosha, to recover drug money from one of the gangs in Liberty known as Carta Once (Card 11). This gang is based from the Columbian Cartels in GTA III and real-life gang MS-13.

Whether you like it or not, Nikko Bellic will die during this encounter. On the other hand, Roman Petronov will feel guilt and grief because of these events and will eventually turn into a criminal and a "working man". If it turns out to be true, the background story is actually gripping.

• There are three helicopters in the game (all respawn): one police cruiser, one for the Liberty Tree News paper which also became news channel WILC, and one that's owned by a person you'll be working with for most of the game.
• Bikes are out, but six motorcycle types are in.
• C-11 will be a HUGE enemy in the game.
• The Russian and Italian Mafias are at war and you'll get to do missions for both.
• Maibatsu has become a major player in Liberty City, and Monstrositys are the norm in upper-middle class areas.
• You will be mugged/lacked/lumped/begged for money/held-up/car jacked and possibly initiated into three different gangs, where you will be able to climb the ranks, through their own set of missions.

Believe all these. Or don't believe any of them. It's really up to you how you're all going to take these "discoveries". As for the QJ folks, we find these nothing short of interesting.
