Autographed Halo 3 soundtrack - DO NOT ERASE! - Image 1Nathaniel, the gamer who got his autographed Xbox 360 unit wiped off clean from the repair center, is one lucky guy. Sure, he did lose the sentimental value of his console, but thanks to the generosity of Bungie Studios, he's now got a whole lot of love and swag (in the form of Halo merchandise). Now that's customer care. Check out the "consolation" goodies he got at the full article.

Halo Graphic NovelFollowing the release of the generally well-received first Halo graphic novel, Marvel has announced that a full series of Halo comic books will be released, with the first one set for publishing in Summer 2007. No mentions have been made of the writer and artist, but Marvel has claimed that we'll be "blown away".

There were absolutely no details given out regarding the books' storyline, characters or setting. It has been suggested that the book might pick up after the events of Halo 3, which makes sense considering that the third game is supposed to be the closing chapter - at least in regard to games. Bungie Content Director Frank O' Connor hinted at the possibility of the comic book not (only) featuring the Master Chief, but the other Spartan II's, which have never been actually pronounced dead.

And who knows, if the Marvel/Bungie partnership turns out fruitful, perhaps we'll see even more video games getting their own comic book series. For franchises like Star Wars, comics have proven themselves as a great way to pursue further storylines and characters without the need of a whole new movie.
