Microsoft Japan is announcing a special Xbox 360 bundle promo for later this June. The promo will entitle first-time console buyers to a couple of free accessories, provided they also pick up one of several game that are also launching in the month (Including Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit). A recent Famitsu report indicates that Koei and Omega Force's Warriors Orochi series of games for the PS2, Xbox 360, PSP, and PC has recently exceeded the 1.5 million mark for worldwide sales. A breakdown of its sales per platform is available over in the full article.

The PSP's on a pretty solid sales streak in Japan. It's been selling more than any other platform in the region since it landed on top last March 16. Sales seem to have plateaued a bit, but it's still leading strong. Another thing of note: ever since January, the PSP has already sold more then the Wii. More in the full article.

Most of us are heating up with the impending release of Grand Theft Auto 4, but there's no need to lose your cool. Just like last week, a modest batch of titles will hit shelves as prelude to April's main act. Square Enix is ready to make some noise in The World Ends With You, while Nintendo is letting the Pokemon loose with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Time. The PSP's been going strong in Japan, selling nearly as much as all the other platforms combined for two weeks straight. While sales seem to have slowed down this week, the Sony handheld is still going strong. Follow the "read more" link for more details.

Over at the other side of the Atlantic, some game industry observers have expressed concern that the launch of Nintendo's Wii Fit may offset the sales of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3). Analyst Jesse Divnich begs to differ, though. He says there may be a bit of a hit early, but things shouldn't be as rough as some may think. Details in the full article.
