NBA Live 10 - Image 1With the new NBA season prepping for the tip-off tonight, EA Sports also readies a patch to activate the Dynamic Season feature that'll sync NBA Live 10 with the real NBA action. Also adding to the action will be quite a number of bug fixes and gameplay adjustments to make sure you keep playing all-season long. Wouldn't make much sense getting a season-long feature if you're gonna give up on the buggy gameplay on the first week, yes?

NBA 2K10 - Image 1LA Lakers superstar and NBA 2K10 coverboy Kobe Bryant sat down for a little chit-chat with USA Today and talked about his video gaming love. Yes, even the pros enjoy sitting back and playing their favorite sports games. It even gets very competitive when he and his boys play. In fact, Kobe says that "it becomes almost like its own sport."

On Shelves This Week - Image 1A lot of games are coming out this week. A veritable rainbow of releases, if you will. If we scale it, the red part (ROY G BIV, remember?) would include big titles like Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for PSP, Borderlands, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 and FIFA Soccer 10. On the violet side (more like bruise purple, really) we have the Charm Girls Club games and another Imagine [Insert Occupation Here] release. Hit the jump and let's get this ball rolling.

NBA Live 10 - Image 1It's no secret that Electronic Arts is pinning high hopes for NBA Live 10 (Xbox 360, PS3, PSP). If they're planning to catch up to 2K Sports like they said they would, then they'd better shape up and bring it. One of their pitches is the Dynamic Season feature, which we can learn more about through this dev diary.

NBA 2K10: Draft Combine - Image 1Earlier this month we heard rumors about something called NBA 2K10: Draft Combine, which was supposed to let players train draft candidates to boost their attributes before drafting them into the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of NBA 2K10. Apparently it's real, and it'll be available as a separate US$ 5 / 400 MS Points download this September. More Draft Combine details after the jump.

EA Sports - Image 1It's one thing to know you've got great competition, it's another to admit that they're doing much better than you. That's exactly what Peter Moore did in his interview with Industry Gamers, when he admitted that 2K Sports is doing much better than his EA Sports. He's not gonna sit and watch his guys eat some 2K dust though, he and his crew are "working very, very diligently" to close the gap that 2K made between them.
