3D moviesFinally, your own IMAX at home! Stereoscopic 3D tech is now confirmed to head for the PS3 and Mac platforms, care of Next3D. They're going to release their 3D movie player software for free, right about the same time they launch their 3D movie service. Some of you have seen it in action as a preview back in CES and GDC, but now it's set in stone. Just as long as your TV is 3D-ready and you got those Shutter glasses, you guys will be able to watch 1080p HD 3D movies on your PS3s and Macs, and eventually, the Xbox 360 too.
