Do you ever wonder which among the consoles are getting the most attention from the developers, meaning how many developers are actually working on a particular platform? Apparently, Game Developer Magazine wondered precisely about this, and so has published a survey report on the state of the game development. Their findings can be found after the jump.

A lot of predictions have been thrown our way as to how this leg of the console race will end. But this one isn't from industry analysts, this time. Rather, it's from one that was formerly in the know as a Sony top executive. For him, we'll know who wins the race by 2011, and it's gonna be a tie.

We're about to enter the final quarter of the year, and it should be interesting to take note how our favored platforms and games are faring in terms of sales. Nintendo still appears to be raking in a lot of cash with the DS Lite and the Wii being the top sellers, while Soul Calibur IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) reigns the software charts, with both the Xbox 360 and PS3 version comfortable in the top spots.

Everyone had a blast out of E3? Maybe, maybe not. We know a lot of you guys have a lot of things in your mind right now (like maybe FF13 jumping to the 360 as well?). It was a week of highs and lows for everyone, but nonetheless, it's still a crazy celebration for gaming in general. Looks like the only reason Lego Indy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl were enjoying their spots on top of the UK video game charts were because of the short supply of Wii Fit.
