Ubisoft is hell-bent on putting its foot down against piracy as they are targeting this year to come out with a piracy solution for their games on the various platforms. The publisher has admitted that their products have been dealt a heavy blow because of the piracy, and they are now working on a tool that should cushion the impact of the said problem.

If all the rumors about Microsoft's hardware are true, then Microsoft is probably scratching its head right now with its disclosure security fail. The release of Resident Evil 5 is looming, but the issue of the game being racist has yet to die down. Stepping into the scene is Glenn Bowman, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anthropology at the University of Kent, who says that the game isn't racist at all. Microsoft called it. Worldwide sales of the Xbox 360 has now officially passed sales of the original Xbox.

Microsoft's pretty happy about it, and they couldn't help but sling some mud Sony's way, saying they now outstripped the PlayStation 3 "in all the territories we care about."

Reports have come in that the PC version of Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (the Xbox 360 version is still in the works) has dethroned Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) from the sales list in both Germany and Sweden. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president and CEO David Reeves said that this summer,  they are expecting the PlayStation 3 to have a bigger user base than the Xbox 360 in every PAL territories.
