Inspired by the classic arcade basketball game of the 90's, TECMO together with developer A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games has announced NBA Unrivaled, a retro styled arcade basketball game for the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Swedish developer Pieces Interactive has joined forces with Tecmo to bring Fret Nice, a platformer that can be played with a guitar controller, to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The dev has recently sent out some assets and a release date for the game.

Koei Tecmo has just confirmed their stint at the coming London MCM Expo on October 24th to the 25th, and to make it easier for all of us to get updates on their booth, they've just launched the official site specifically made for the expo. The booth will be featuring the best of what the now combined publishers have to offer, and we now know what they'll be taking along for the trip.

For something that's more than 25 years old, the Fist of the North Star franchise still has a lot of pull in Japan. And Koei Tecmo knows it. The company has high hopes for the game, and it seems that those hopes won't be limited to Japan only.

Hokuto no Ken -- known as Fist of the North Star outside Japan -- is full of muscular badasses who can melt your flesh with a flick of their fingers roaming across post-apocalyptic wastes. Blood, guts, and exploding heads will be decorating the screens of TVs in Japan next year as Koei Tecmo has announced a new video game entry in the post-apocalyptic martial arts franchise, Fist of the North Star, called Hokuto Musou. Blurry scans after the jump.

Team Ninja's got another project up their sleeve and they want you to be on their team! Tecmo has made it known that they are looking for a programmer for a high end project via a Japanese classified ad site.

Well aren't they fanboys! Several Japanese developers have expressed their adoration for Microsoft's Project Natal, and it's all on video.

It was way back in June when Nikkei Corporate reported that both Koei and Tecmo were working on looking to combine their respective IP to unite their fanbases. While it's not the Xtremely Bouncy Dead or Alive Bikini Beach Volleyball that some folks were hoping for, the new rollout is still very much capable of meeting the now merged publishers' goal of bringing fanbases together.
