The Team Fortress 2 team has posted another update on the game's official blog regarding the upcoming updates for the game's Xbox 360 version. No dates yet, but it looks like the Sniper class pack won't be the only update Valve will be rolling out in the near future.

Guinness World Records EIC Craig Glenday put together an unspecified group of industry experts to form a judging panel and rated the most influential games of all time. So who makes it to the top of their list? Keep your favorites in mind, then find out after the jump.

Eurogamer has a feature up that should be of extreme interest to Xbox 360 gamers. They undertook the job of comparing the load times between playing games straight from the DVD, and from the hard drive.

Remember when Valve's Gabe Newell said that the "PS3 is a waste of everybody's time"? Well, it looks like people can have a change of heart too. Valve admits that they're lacking in-house resources for PS3 development (which means... Team Fortress 2 won't be getting an update, even though it's already heading to the 360 and PC versions), however, they're still committed in trying to get a strong in-house team of PS3 developers. Also, unless EA has any say on it, it looks like Left 4 Dead will be staying on the Xbox 360 and PC.

We all know that Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode 2 kicked some serious booty last year, and it's still among today's favorites because of its superior gameplay. The only downside in this scenario is that fans are asking for more, and they've started looking at E3 2008 as the possible birthplace of the next episode. Valve says "not yet", but they've got another thing for itchy trigger fingers. More after the jump.

Yes, Valve Corporation's Portal (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC) is indeed remarkable, but as tempting as the idea may be, the game developer studio won't cash in on the highly-lucrative series...for now. After the slew of mostly PC games last week, this time around we're going to have the same boatload of PC releases with a smattering of Nintendo Wii and DS games, and the occasional XBLA shoot-em-up in between. The gaming line-up is diverse, however. This week we're going to have the old-school vertical shooter Ikaruga, the dungeon crawler Baroque, and the retail stand-alone release of The Orange Box titles. Electronic Arts boss John Riccitiello announced that the highly successful video game compilation The Orange Box will soon be split into its component parts and will each be sold as separate titles. Some of the more memorable games include Half-Life: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2, with each title garnering its own set of accolades during the past year.

Games Critics Awards is proud to bring to us the list of their top 10 games of 2007. 2K Games' BioShock (PC, Xbox 360) had the prestigious honor of grabbing the top spot as the judges' choice for Game of the Year, based on the point system ranking devised by Games Critics.

Now this is a triumph. A video of Portal's (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) theme song, Still Alive, being sung by the Japanese synthesizer application Vocaloid has surfaced. It's not by Valve, but appropriate translation and a voice very similar to GLaDOS' make it sound very authentic. Check it out at the full article.
