A new DLC pack is headed for the Guitar Hero: World Tour (360, PS3, Wii), and this time, it's for all the punk rockers in all of us. Even the name of the pack is punk-sounding, with Epitaph Punk-O-Rama Track Pack as the title. Obviously, as you may also see from the name, it's all about the Epitaph artists. List after the jump.

European gamers weren't all too thrilled to find out how much DJ Hero (PS3, Xbox 360) was gonna cost in their region. Comparatively, the US pricing is much more decent than what was given to them at GB£ 107.99 (US$ 177.70). Now, Activision is speaking out about their decision on the price, and is justifying it by saying that the game does offer 'tremendous value'. Hmmm.. the value argument. I think I've heard that from somewhere before.

If you wanna be the star of the party, then you gotta pony up some hard cash. That seems to be the message Activision is sending their European patrons awaiting the new DJ Hero (PS3, Xbox 360). UK retailer ShopTo has divulged to Eurogamer that the price point at which the game will release is at a cold GB£ 107.99 (US$ 177.70).

Tracking firm OTX believes that Activision and Infinity Ward's decision to drop the "Call of Duty" tag from Modern Warfare 2 has cost the game a fair chunk of brand recognition. Details after the jump.

Jimmy Page and Jack White are not singing praises for Guitar Hero. Their concurrence: video games shouldn't be how people get exposed to music or playing instruments. In a press conference in LA, promoting the documentary "It Might Get Loud", the two legendary guitarists (Page from Led Zeppelin, White from The White Stripes, in case you didn't know) gave out their thoughts on music-simulation games.

This is a much, much better line-up for our On Shelves section this week. As in MUCH. One, the Transformers are finally rolling out (unfortch, Megan Fox won't be included in your game purchase). Two, Fight Night Round 4 is also stepping into the ring to knock you out with. Three, The Conduit is also set to make waves on your Wii, and so is the Resident Evil Archives. There's certainly a lot of anticipation for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie, but what about the video game? While there are still mixed feelings about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, that's not gonna stop the Autobots and Decepticons from putting on a show, and they're gonna do so in a lot of platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2, PC.

Activision's got high aims for the debut of Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), picturing it to be the "biggest entertainment launch ever." That's not such a stretch too, considering how highly-anticipated this title is. And it's all up to TBWA, the global ad agency tapped by Activision for the job, to make it happen.

Following Treyarch's earlier announcement of Call of Duty: World At War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS) breaking the 11 million units sold mark, we now hear that the game's second map pack has already been downloaded more than a million times. And in only four days, no less.
