Turn 10 has announced that Forza Motorsport 3 is now gold and is racing into the final lap for its October release. To mark the occasion, they've also given the green light for a demo set to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace later this month. Demo details after the jump.

Yes! We now have the car roster for the new NFS installment for consoles and PC, Need for Speed Shift (Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PSP). It's a handsome line-up, I should say, with 18 authentic race tracks, and over 65 pixel-perfect cars. The cover car: the coveted BMW M3 GT2. *drool* Plus, there's also the track list for the game, as well as some screenshots of the BMW ride.

Fans of Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 2 for the Xbox 360 will want to look out for new downloadable content scheduled for release this weekend. The first DLC is for a 2007 SEAT Leon Cupra. This pack will be free of charge, much like the download pack you guys received last August.

The second download pack will add 10 new cars to your garage, at an expected cost of 400 MS Points. Here are the new vehicles you can expect to get in this upcoming Forza 2 pack:

Electronic Arts recently gave out the the first car list for its video game Need For Speed ProStreet, and its looking pretty sweet. Each car is said to be "selected for a reason", whether because it is "unique, aspirational, memorable or highly desirable".

A big addition to the car list is the Nissan GT-R PROTO (pictured at right). This is the first time it has ever been featured in any game. It was first revealed at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show and really turned heads when it came out.

Another car that most people would probably want to take a spin in is the 2008 BMW M3. Personally, I'd still go for the 1999 Mazda RX-7, but then I've always been a Mazda fanboy. Anyway, we're sure most of you are pretty excited about the selection so here's the list.

Test Drive Unlimited was released last week and already has some content available to download in the form of the Launch Pack on the Marketplace. The first downloadable content pack for Test Drive Unlimited is free of charge and gives you two free cars for the game. The cars that are included in the Launch Pack are the Audi RS4 quattro Saloon and the NISSAN Skyline GTR R34. The download weights in at 20.00MB so if you wanted to add a few more cars to your collection, go ahead and download the Launch Pack on the Marketplace.

  

Apart from the 48-hour free trial of Xbox Live online for Gold members, Atari has now released a couple more free downloadable cars. This is to celebrate Test Drive Unlimited's launch a few days ago. The game's retail price is $39.99, but with the addition of the Audi RS4 Quattro and the Nissan Skyline GT-R34, there's no denying that the package is getting more satisfying for all the dollars spent.

With TDU's Massively Open Online Racing feature and a collection of 90 licensed cars and bikes that you can customize, the addition of two more cars makes this racing game more thrilling than ever.
