It seems that all big games these days have to get their special editions to spruce up their launches. It's mandated by law or something. Capcom made no exceptions to that as they confirmed that Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) will have a special edition of its own. That and other details including the price after the jump.

Capcom has announced over in the E3 their plans to create a movie based on Lost Planet (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC). As if that's not interesting enough, the company also detailed that the writer in charge of this production is somebody plenty of you should be very familiar with. This week's release list can be described in a few words: college football. Tuesday marks the release of multiplatform sports game NCAA Football 2009 on every modern console there is to date. During our search, we've found that some games haven't surfaced in the previous weeks - even on online retail. So expect to see a repeat showing this week.
