Super Street Fighter IV - Image 1Despite having confirmed that Super Street Fighter IV will remain between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, Capcom must've taken a step back to reconsider. What were they thinking? The latest from an arcade-legend franchise, not coming to the arcades? Sure enough, the publisher must've re-thought the whole thing, so they're now not ruling out the arcade version.

When it first came out, we were open to the speculation of it being a mere expansion of sorts. Well it's not. It's just been revealed to GameSpot by producer Yoshinori Ono that it will be a stand-alone version.

Now rumors are going around that the "sequel" in question is actually Super Street Fighter IV. What's more, we may be hearing something about it within the next two days.

Keiji Inafune - Image 1We know that when he's got good things to say, he'll say it. He was very vocal about his respect for Bungie. But when what he sees is not up to par, we now know he can be quite harsh about it. Keiji Inafune, father of Mega Man and Capcom's head of R&D, was less than impressed with what he saw at TGS 09, and this led him to believe that the Japanese gaming industry is finished.

Street Fighter IV - Image 1There's a Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) sequel coming, Capcom's Natsuki Shiozawa said so himself in Capcom Japan's official blog. We're not really sure how much of a "sequel" this actually would be, but he did indicate that an official announcement will be made soon.
