Manufacturer Lian Li was spotted displaying an upgraded version of its custom Xbox 360 chassis over at the ongoing CeBIT 2008 expo in Hanover, Germany. The kit's updated model appears to carry some new functions and details, which you can view in the full article.

Microsoft's corporate vice president of global marketing for interactive entertainment Jeff Bell has reaffirmed his company's earlier statements that there's no Xbox 360 with a built-in HD-DVD drive coming to the market. Instead, he said that Microsoft is taking an agnostic approach to the format wars and says that consumer choice will ultimately determine the future of high-definition video.

A few days ago, Microsoft announced that it will be going into a partnership with the British Telecom (BT Group) to provide Xbox 360 consoles with on-demand programming. While the service will not need the broadband TV service's set-top box, it seems that the setback is that the console will not be able to watch or record live TV. Details in the full article.

Microsoft's group marketing manager for Xbox hardware, Albert Penello, said at CES 2008 that Microsoft could actually support Blu-ray on the Xbox 360 console if the HD-DVD format fails.
