Final Fantasy 13 - Image 1Scans from the recent issue of V-Jump magazine have surfaced, showing Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360), FF Versus XIII, and FF Agito XIII. Some of the Fabula Nova Crystallis screens and artwork seem to be a recycled batch from the previous media (screens, trailers, scans, etc.). In fact, V-Jump's coverage looks strangely similar to Shonen Jump's scans from last week. Nevertheless, we'll take what we can get - heh, another excuse to see the topless renders of the Versus characters.

Universe at War: Earth Assault logo - Image 1

We reported a few days ago that the PC RTS Universe at War: Earth Assault will also be making a debut on the Xbox 360. If words are not enough to give you an idea of the game, then maybe these artwork and screens would do the trick. The game is being developed by Petroglyph while Sega is the publisher. Here is the game's partial feature list:
  • On-the-fly customization lets you adapt dynamically to your opponent, raising the stakes of battle
  • Unique multiplayer achievements and modes that are new to the RTS genre
  • Environmental destruction and manipulation in a persistent world
  • Dual-layer of tactical and global gameplay
  • Special hero units
  • Massive-scale units that dwarf conventional RTS units
  • Real-world, modern-day environments
  • Three unique factions, not including the introductory military faction, which players can control as they learn the game
  • On-demand UI that doesn’t clutter your view of the battle
Aside from all that, Sega mentioned in a just-released press release that they are employing a control scheme built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 version of Universe at War. Below, we have some character renders, artwork, and screens of the game; do check them out. The game is expected to hit store shelves in Q1 2008.

So you're Frank West, a photographer who's hell-bent on getting the much-coveted Pulitzer Prize. It seems as if nothing can stop you from attaining your dream - unless zombies get to you first. You see, you're trapped in the mall littered with zombies, as well as some survivors (read: living people). In this dilemma, you are posed with various choices: solve cases, go on a lesiurely stroll along the zombie-infested mall, and of course take pictures (with zombies caught in film, that Pulitzer Prize is in the bag).

That is the plot of Dead Rising, a game that has almost achieved celebrity status with its "banned-but-not-quite" rating in Germany.

While you ponder about what you'll be doing when faced with making the same decisions as Frank West will be making, here are some character renders for the almost-banned yet interesting game from Capcom, Dead Rising.
