If you're a comic enthusiast then you've probably heard of uber-artist Alex Ross. If you're also looking forward to getting Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), then you'll be glad to know that Midway has tapped Ross' talents for the game's collectors edition.

It's become a classic he said-he said. Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

Earlier, we had reported on the possibility of a US$ 130 Gears of War 2  bundle that supposedly would come with a replica of the lancer weapon from the game. Microsoft has clarified the matter though and, sad to say, that bundle may have been a misunderstanding. Learn more after the jump.

Two new bits of information related to Gears of War 2. were recently revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con 08. The first was the possibility of seeing linked achievements in the game, and the second was some preliminary information on a US$ 130 bundle for the game. Learn more about both after the jump!

We all know that Ubisoft and Jordan Mechner have been working on a new Prince of Persia video game for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Well, apparently that's not the only thing Mechner's been busy with. At this year's San Diego Comic-con he revealed that he is currently working on a follow-up to Karateka. Four new characters have been announced for Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), two from each side, and they should bring in some interesting play mechanics that ought to spice things up.

Microsoft and a group of directors and producers have teamed up to offer the gaming public seven short films this fall. Featuring a mix of comedy and horror, these short films hope to entice audiences to try downloading and streaming videos via the Xbox Live Video Marketplace. Learn more after the jump!

A few days back it was still unclear whether Gears of War 2 will really makes its way or not to New York Comic Con 2008, but Epic Games has made sure it was worth the anxiety. Speaking in a panel, Epic Games Vice President Michael Capps and writer Joshua Ortega gave us a few more fresh details about the upcoming title. More on Gears of War 2 after the jump.
