GTA IV The Ballad of Gay Tony - Image 1Despite being in the digital download era today, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser is still of the belief that people remain to be more comfortable buying movies and games on discs. This is the company's premise for putting The Ballad of Gay Tony on a disc as well, apart from its DLC form.

GTA - Image 1Ever since Rockstar's highly lucrative Grand Theft Auto franchise started raking in the cash, there have been rumors that it was going to be adapted for the silver screen. Heck, even rapper Eminem was rumored to be attached to a GTA movie at one time. Rockstar, on the other hand, has deflected all rumors and offers so far. Why? Because they need to protect their baby from being misrepresented by a suck-tastic movie made only to capitalize on the series' accomplishments.

Dan Houser - Image 1A lot of you are probably getting itchy waiting for the DLC for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV, but even Rockstar's Dan Houser doesn't know when exactly it'll come out yet, so be patient. As Houser said: "We're more focused on quality than dates, always have been."

Rockstar's Sam Houser - Image 1It's a different take of what Rockstar's founder actually did say in an interview as one of MCV Entertainment's exclusive feature, but it's factually accurate. Sam Houser, who many claim to be the driving force behind the Grand Theft Auto franchise, was executive producer of Grand Theft Auto 3. That game  became the direction of the subsequent iterations of the sandbox game later on. He says that powerful people have been out to put Rockstar out of business, and they're quite plenty.
