Mirror's Edge - Image 1If some high-profile games like GTA4 have exclusive DLC on XBL, it shouldn't come as a surprise these days that other multiplatform games might go the same route: exclusive content for one console or other. Today we get word that the PS3 version of Mirror's Edge will be getting exclusive downloadable content via PSN. While this may be the case, it doesn't automatically rule out that other forms of exclusive content could also eventually arrive for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the FPS game. More in the full article.

Mirror's Edge - Image 1Mirror's Edge could very well be an Halo 3-Assassin's Creed mash-up with its first-person parkour gameplay. However, this same innovation lends itself to concerns on motion sickness for gamers.

Read more on the explanation of Electronic Arts' Digital Illusions CE (DICE) studio about this head-spinning issue as well as the lack of greenery.

Mirror's Edge - Image 1Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions CE's Mirror's Edge is a first person action game that aims to remove artificial barriers and give players a sense of unparalleled freedom. That's a pretty tall order for any developer to fill, but the screenshots of the game look pretty promising. To see the screenshots for yourself, check out the full article.

As expected, more news is streaming in from this year's Leipzig Games Convention. Goodies and eye candy included. Rejoice FPS fans, we found a sweet semi-shaky cam footage for you from Digital Illusions' Battlefield: Bad Company.

In the video, we see how to get rid of pesky enemy units far larger than the average soldier, i.e. helicopters and tanks. Hop over to a gun turret or rain fire from the heavens by tagging targets with a laser. We get to catch glimpses of just how destructible the environments are (make sure to keep an eye on the trees and the walls). Come to think of it, this is just the second Battlefield: Bad Company video we've seen so far and it's looking good.

We'll quit with the babble. Check out the video and feel free to grace the comments section with... well, comments. Battlefield: Bad Company (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) will be marching to the shelves next year.

Battlefield: Bad Company - Image 1

Some guys don't pick guns up to fight for their country or honor. Sometimes, raining lead on your enemies or risking your life behind enemy lines is for one purpose alone - to earn bread. The grunts from Battlefield: Bad Company (PS3, Xbox 360) aren't new to the concept, because they kill for cold hard cash.

Unfortunately, we haven't heard much of this promising title from Digital Illusions. We do know that 90% of the game's environment will be destructible, and everything looks satisfying when blown up. A couple of characters have also been confirmed: Haggard the demolitions expert, and his senior officer The Sarge.

Expect Battlefield: Bad Company to hit the shelves next year. For now, check out the new scans from Jeux France.
