FF Agito 13 - Image 1Oh, even more scans! Today we see another feature on the Fabula Nova Crystallis trio: FF13, FFV13, and FFA13. This time around, the scans are from Famitsu (yesterday's scans were from V-Jump, remember?). Here we see FF13's Snow getting a last name, Versus' tense chemistry between Noct and Stella, and Agito's battle system.

Final Fantasy 13 - Image 1Scans from the recent issue of V-Jump magazine have surfaced, showing Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360), FF Versus XIII, and FF Agito XIII. Some of the Fabula Nova Crystallis screens and artwork seem to be a recycled batch from the previous media (screens, trailers, scans, etc.). In fact, V-Jump's coverage looks strangely similar to Shonen Jump's scans from last week. Nevertheless, we'll take what we can get - heh, another excuse to see the topless renders of the Versus characters.

Final Fantasy XIII - Image 1Time to update those nicknames! Pigtailed Girl still remains as Pigtailed Girl, but as for Mr 33cm, it's a different story now. Shonen Jump reveals the formal name of some of the characters in the three Fabula Nova Crystallis games, with an assortment of screens and art littering about.

Final Fantasy XIII - Image 1

TGS is right around the corner, and it's no surprise that the big boys of the videogame industry are packing their biggest guns for the event. Such is the case with Square Enix, having recently announced that it will be showing new, exclusive trailers of its highly-anticipated titles in two separate Mega Theaters at TGS. Talk about jumping into the fray armed!

So what titles are going to get the special trailer treatment from Squeenix? In no particular order, they're Dragon Quest IX (DS), The Last Remnant (Xbox 360), Final Fantasy XI (Xbox 360, PC), Final Fantasy Dissidia (PSP) and Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII (PS3). That's five titles we haven't been hearing much of lately, with emphasis on the highly-anticipated sequel to one of the greatest RPG series ever made.

There's a catch, though. Final Fantasy Dissidia and Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII will have their trailers shown in Squeenix's Closed Mega Theater, while the others will be airing at the Open Mega Theater. So it's going to be pretty tough for anyone who'd want to watch what's the latest with the Final Fantasy character-packed fighting game for the PSP, as well as the first ever main female lead of a Final Fantasy game (second if you count Yuna).

Could there be a fifth installment in the Square Enix's series of games under the FF XII label">Fabula Nova Crystallis franchise? We're leaning towards thinking there might actually be one. Over at the French website, Final Fantasy World, word has been reported that Square Enix has registered the title Dissidia in the United Sates Patent and Trademark Office on April 6. And as it is Latin, then it probably makes sense to put it alongside other Latin-named installments... right?

Proof that the Dissidia registration did happen at the US Patent Office - Image 1Proof that the Dissidia registration did happen at the US Patent Office - Image 2

Square Enix has been telling everyone that they will be announcing a new title come the Square Enix Party 2007. Could Dissidia be the mystery title we're all waiting for? We don't know for sure yet, so this would have to be tagged as a rumor, although it's been confirmed by the site Forever Fantasy that the registration of the title did occur at the patent office.

If that may be the case, then Dissidia just could prove to be yet another great addition to the saga that is Fabula Nova. Currently included in the franchise are Final Fantasy XIII, Versus XIII, Agito XIII and Haeresis XIII.

There is still no clue as to which platform this title may be headed to. But if you want to be assured that the registration did in fact happen, just click on the image inset.
