CAR SMASH! - Image 1While it was not quite as fulfilling as giving another player a brutal beat down, the car-destroying minigame in Street Fighter II served as a sort of calming distraction from the constant fist, foot, and fireball on flesh action. We haven't seen it in any of the recent iterations of the series, but as shown in the latest issue of Famitsu, it may be making a return in Super Street Fighter IV (PS3Xbox 360) along with the barrel smashing bonus stage.

consoles - Image 1It's numbers time yet again! Famitsu's come out with their hardware sales charts, albeit a bit late this week. Still on top: DSi. And what's this we see inching closer to the top, a mere 4,000 units shy? It's the PSP with 40,000, just a tad bit below the DSi who has 44,000. The Xbox 360, meanwhile, edges out over PS2 with just 2,000 more units sold.

Bayonetta - Image 1Japanese magazine Famitsu has given out its verdict for Platinum Games' Bayonetta, and what do you know, it got a perfect score of 40/40. Here's the thing, though. Not only did it get a perfect 40, it also got a 38.
