Microsoft - Xbox 360 global sales surpass original Xbox - Image 1Microsoft called it. Worldwide sales of the Xbox 360 has now officially passed sales of the original Xbox.

Microsoft's pretty happy about it, and they couldn't help but sling some mud Sony's way, saying they now outstripped the PlayStation 3 "in all the territories we care about."

Xbox Live Video Marketplace goes live in Europe - Image 1It took a while, but Xbox Live Video Marketplace (XBLVM) will finally be available in areas in Europe, and in time for Christmas too. The service will also be available in Canada - surprise, surprise. The Video Store will be going live in the UK, Canada, Ireland, France and Germany on December 11.
