Justice for All cover picture - Image 1Apparently, Harmonix's Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3) isn't the only game that will be receiving even more heavy metal lovin'. Activision has just sent out word that Metallica is going to be part of Guitar Hero III's (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2)  growing song lineup.

What makes this news all the more enticing is that the band's master track is reported to be "One."  For the guys who haven't heard (or live under a rock), One is the very first song Metallica created a music video for, and is part of their "...And Justice for All" album from 1988, which hit number six on The Billboard 200 during its release.

That's all the details we've got for the moment, although we'll update in case more news gets released on more bands making it to GHIII.

Mega band Megadeth

Smart bombs, precision guided armament/ A more sophisticated way to end up dead/ Still we search and invent such intelligent weapons/ That kill each other like the Gears of War/ Hoo-rah!!!/

Sounds hard-core, huh? Well of course it is! After all, that's the song of American heavy metal band, Megadeth. And yeah, it is for the Xbox 360-exclusive hit game Gears of War. The even better news is that the band has made it available as a free download, which we are hosting right here. And we're throwing in the lyrics as well, so you could sing along with it...Or maybe not. Just headbang your way through the song while playing your GoW. That should be more than enough to fire you up.
