Brutal Legend - Image 1And here I was thinking that Electronic Arts finally loosened up. John Riccitiello, EA's CEO, recently remarked in an interview that Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend (the one with Jack Black) is a "significant creative risk." Awww. Hope a publisher picks up the game soon.

Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend on Game Informer cover - Image 1Video game designer Tim Schafer's upcoming title Brutal Legend has landed a cover spot on the latest issue of Game Informer. This is according to a post on the official Double Fine forums.

Not much is known about Brutal Legend just yet, but the mag describes it as "A Rock n' Roll roadshow". Actor Jack Black will apparently be voicing roadie Eddie Riggs, presumably the game's main protagonist. We'll report more details as soon as soon as they surface.

Schafer's most recent project was the 2005 platformer Psychonauts. The game received critical acclaim but suffered from lackluster sales.

Jack Black's Confessionals for his upcoming movie 'Nacho Libre' on the Marketplace are to be added to - the 18th and 19th addition just became available today. The 18th confessional talks about how Jack thinks he discovered a hidden pyramid in Mexico. Jack's 19th confessional deals with a specific scene in the movie where the director makes him eat a grasshopper. Just in case you didn't know the first 17 confessionals are still available on the Marketplace as well. So go ahead and give these little clips a download if you are keeping up with the confessionals, or if you're a Jack Black fan.
