Koei Tecmo - Image 1Koei Tecmo has just confirmed their stint at the coming London MCM Expo on October 24th to the 25th, and to make it easier for all of us to get updates on their booth, they've just launched the official site specifically made for the expo. The booth will be featuring the best of what the now combined publishers have to offer, and we now know what they'll be taking along for the trip.

This guy can f*ck you up - Image 1For something that's more than 25 years old, the Fist of the North Star franchise still has a lot of pull in Japan. And Koei Tecmo knows it. The company has high hopes for the game, and it seems that those hopes won't be limited to Japan only.

Thanks to Peter Bauer for the tip!

Hokuto Musou - Image 1Hokuto no Ken -- known as Fist of the North Star outside Japan -- is full of muscular badasses who can melt your flesh with a flick of their fingers roaming across post-apocalyptic wastes. Hokuto Musou, Koei Tecmo's newly announced Fist of the North Star game, follows that aesthetic to a tee. Hit the jump for first details and screenshots.

Nope, not this time, not yet - Image 1It was way back in June when Nikkei Corporate reported that both Koei and Tecmo were working on looking to combine their respective IP to unite their fanbases. While it's not the Xtremely Bouncy Dead or Alive Bikini Beach Volleyball that some folks were hoping for, the new rollout is still very much capable of meeting the now merged publishers' goal of bringing fanbases together.

Project Natal - Image 1 Shooters will work with Microsoft's new Natal tech. Devs will just have to rethink their approach to the standard shooter control scheme to do it. That's what Rare design director George Andreas revealed in a recent interview.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce - Image 1We're so used to getting console or PC games ported to handhelds. What if we turn things around and make it a console port of a handheld game? Sounds good,  yes? Koei thought so too, and so has announced that they will be porting the PSP title, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, to both the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

PS3 Motion Controller - Image 1Not everyone seems to be absolutely gung-ho about the motion control technology debuted by Microsoft and Sony at this year's E3 event. Tecmo Koei president Kenji Matsubara is one of those who carries certain "concerns" about the efficiency of the said controls to games, characterizing it more as suited for casual games than hardcore action ones.
