E3 2008: Jack Tretton says MGS4 'impossible' on Xbox 360 due to Blu-ray - Image 1To those of you wondering if Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be joining the same cross-platform bandwagon as Final Fantasy 13, the answer is a solid and resounding "no". Jack Tretton, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), mentioned that such a thing would be "impossible" for other consoles to achieve, knowing the game's heavy technical demands. Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4 - Image 1With Solid Snake enjoying epic numbers in Japan, it's now time to take a look at the other side of the world. Chart Track reports the software sales figures for the week ending on June 14, with Metal Gear Solid 4 closing its firm grip on to the top spot. Lego Indy is like so last week now. Its multiplatform success on the PSP, PS3, Wii, DS, 360, and PC last week apparently wasn't enough to take cover from the Guns of the Patriots.
