quickpeek - Image 1General Industry news is taking a back seat for this week, but that doesn't mean the gaming world was any less exciting. We've got a lot of hardware issues this week, actually, from missing PSP Go nubs to limited disc space, to the alarming drop in the numbers of said hardwares, we've got a busy hardware week in our hands.

Koji Igarashi - Image 1Koji "IGA" Igarashi has been involved with Konami's Castlevania franchise since for a dozen years now. I was personally surprised that the man considered to be a Castlevania icon wasn't anywhere near the E3 stage when Konami announced Lords of Shadow (PS3, Xbox 360), but it appears that we may be hearing more from him in a few months' time.

Konami online ID codes - Image 1Konami's online ID codes haven't been received well. For good reason, too. The system requires gamers to have three separate accounts just to play an online Konami game, and that's just overkill. The good news though is that Konami is finally starting to get rid of them.

Finger Dance Alarm Clock - Image 1 Revolutionizing the way you wake up is this fun alarm clock spotted at online retail site, Thumbs Up. It's very much reminiscent of the arcade dance machine for Dance Dance Revolution, but it doesn't carry the trademark from Konami. It does, however, make your fingers dance on the lit arrow keys every time you beg the morning to give you five more minutes.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Image 1 Konami blew quite a few minds at E3 when they announced that Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima would be involved in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, their upcoming reboot of the Castlevania franchise. It has since come to light that the game is actually being made by Mercury Steam with Konami Europe producing. It wasn't even really a Castlevania game in the beginning. So just what does Kojima's involvement entail, then? The man himself answered that question in a recent Famitsu interview.

Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment - Image 1 Konami has kept pretty quiet about Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment ever since it was announced back in April. That changes today as Konami has released new screenshots and a features list for the upcoming tactical RPG.

Suikoden - Image 1Siliconera reports that Konami has recently filed a trademark for "Genso Suikoden" in the US. Yeah, it's for the Japanese series name, which kinda dilutes the possibility of an actual new game in the long-running RPG series. Still, the chance for another game is there.
